It was fast-paced, energetic, and all-round a pretty fun-sounding track.

Also, I loved the retro-style chipsounds.

Hokay. This was like comparing the blue sky to a bucket of apples. And if that makes no sense, it's because they were both that different.

@Jer
I'd have liked to hear a bit more improvisation or a melody laid over the top of what I had. I wrote my source to be simple in the hopes to leave room for lots of creative freedom. Everything in this is subtle. A very neat track, fun to listen to. I really think 'pack up, journey is about to begin' when I listen to this.

@Gario
uhn ta uhn ta uhn ta uhn ta uhn ta. Iz tekno party!
Echo seems a little bit heavy in places. Though I love the short chip-sounding sections. Neat interpretations on the source. Someday I'll have to write something that doesn't sound so bright and happy to start out with.

In the end, points to Gario. Felt like he did a little bit more with it.

No choices here, so here's my vote. While I'm here, let's look at the music, shall we? You get a critique, since that's what I do :P.

Nice mellow instruments. I like the feel of it, so kudos, there (completely different approach than mine, for sure). Mellow as it is, I think it could have benefited from a slight volume increase - it sounds very quiet, now.

The drums are a but old fashion sounding. Not sure if that was intentional (a good chance it was), but they sound a bit out of place, here.

The organ-thing in there doesn't mesh well, to me, and neither do those old electonic sounds towards the end, and the piano was... meh, not good, not bad. The guitar was top notch, though - moar guitar is always good.

It was a bit repetitive, but I understand why - the source was a little repetitive, so you work with what you got, right? Some harmony changes would've been nice, though.

Not bad, overall, especially for a few hours. I'd wish you luck, but that'd obviously be a lie (I wanna win :P). So yeah, nice piece :).

JerryTerry - Nice start, good sampling. The kick is a little too hard. The built-up and down from this song is done in a very good way.
Gario - I like the begin, it's a little noisy. I like the part around 1:56. There's enough variation in this song. Sometimes the "drns" are a little too hard (like at 2:12)

JerryTerry first, Gario second. I'm glad this one wasn't a default win like last month's.
