TheVideoGamer - This is a hard techno track with 2 buildups and drops. The buildups are calm and atmospheric, with thick pads full of reverb, before we snare rise into the drop. The drops are similar to each other, but the 2nd one has a different chord progression and more of a supersaw sound. The first drop is more focused on the dog sounds and the basslines. In both drops there is a rave stab sound for that oldschool feel, as well as arps to bring the chaotic energy. Honestly whilst it's not super dynamic, it definately brings the hard hitting energy, and i do like the melodies here a lot. Oh well, glad you liked it!
DarkShadow - Lots of cool synth toms here, this is hard, but then again you never do anything too soft lol. The rhythms are very trippy here, almost hard to tell what signature were in, but it's very crazy. It's super focused on the disorted square sounds, in all sorts of dissonant ways. Not my favourite from you, but man it was cool. I feel like giving you this one this week, well done!
Nukage - That intro is very tasty with all the arps, it really gives of a synthwave vibe, even if the drop isn't nessecarily synthwave. The drop is very hard, insane bass work in this. It's insane just how much growls they're are. It's quite intense, maybe too intense parts in parts, too loud, but the arrangement and melodies were fire, so much so that it outweighed the critiques. It was so good i placed it 2nd, amazing work!
NextGenNick - This gives me a very oldschool video game sound, from like 1992. The bass work is super funky, and the chords are mysterious and very smooth. The mixing is really good, nothing sticks out as loud or in your face. The chords could be played an octave higher personally, but aside from that, it was enough for me to give you it. Well done!
Exubeat - I like these chords, also smooth, yet also dark. That 808 is massive, to the point where i'm just consumed by 808. The melodies though are honestly wonderful, the arrangement is so good. Tone down the 808 a bit and it would maybe be even better, but i thought it was still fire, enough to give you it. It was so good i placed it third, amazing work!
DDRKirby(ISQ) - The most chiptune entry of the week. This is taking me all the was back to the NES days, but of course with the modern DDR production. Those melodies are sneaky, yet the energy is very high. The melodies are just insanely catchy and the mixing is wonderful. I love this a lot, it's so good, so much so i placed it first, incredible work!
UnknownPseudoartist - Digging those chugs, has that combination of oldschool metal and modern digital metal. The growls are sick, but from the video you shared i think you might have sampled it. The track is super great arrangement wise, although personally a bit short. The real meat should last longer in my opinion. However relistening i didn't find anything i would change, just that it's just a little short. Loved it though, it was sick, well done!
A2Z - Lol i was not expecting gabber on the radar, but i'll take it. I'd say this is more closer to hyper techno, because that beat isn't blow your face off lol, but the energy is there, the beat is intense, and the vocals are hilarious, no idea where the meme is from, but i like it. The melodies in the 2nd half was great, kind of dark and unsettling. Mixing is a little in your face, which i know it's gabber, but it's more the mixing of the melodies than the beat. But i still loved it, it was more than enough for me to give you it. Well done!
Arcana - I like the vocal work here a lot, it's great singing. The beat is a slow creeper, but when it does drop it's really fire. The overall chord progression could be a bit louder personally, i feel the vocals and beat take centre stage, but relistening to this i couldn't find much wrong with it, so i like it. Well done!
