btype: Welcome to OHC! This has a nice lofi sound to it, kind of reminded me of old 80s vibes with the Acid 303 and the chiptune sounds.

DarkShadow: This sounded really cool. it was catchy and had a vibe to it and I liked its rhythm a lot

jana007: This was really human and really cool, I enjoyed it especially since it was so organic and real. The vibe was there, the vocals sounded nice behind all of the effects, just got enough character in them.

nukage: This was a really sweet delivery. Really solid production and awesome vibe and tons of details. Nice melodic work and punchy synths. I voted this 1.

ddrKirby: Super catchy and bright and that melody is great. it's all so pretty. Voted 3.

Meistr & morphia: The vocal delivery here is great. haunting whispers really shine through, great production here. voted 2.

coloradoweeks: everything here is really pretty. You have a nice organic warm quality to your voice here.

ethansight: that doesn't give me DnB vibes haha, I guess it's at the end but then it's just breakbeat to me. but it's really cute and pretty and has a kind of almost Latin feel to it. very eclectic.

TheVIdeoGamer: Lots of movement in the textures here. Swing is awesome, the kick bounces. I think one suggestion would that I would have liked to swing the arp a bit more too to match the beat groove a bit initially but I liked this.

Arcana: This is my song, I did the main synth on an Oberheim Xpander that was a multi patch, so it did the panning. There was also a bass from a 303 and some content from a wavetable based synth called Kontrast. I added overdrive to the vocal and sung into an SM58beta. would have added a big chorus section but I realized I was super late.

I joined so voting time!

TheVideoGamer - This time i decided to do an original composition, compared so say my find the samples series where i get people to guess which artist i sampled, but it's getting to where i'm running out of artists lol, so i changed tatics to this. Inspired by my love for a guy called P.SUS this track is a slow evolving one, where we begin with a Benny Goodman sample, before drums creep in, then pad chords before we then come in with the arps. The sample repeats throughout for 3 minutes, before that slowly drops out in favour of a new chord progression on some pads and choir sounds, before it goes into the climax at the end, before the final breakdown. All of this is done in a very positive style as i was feeling that this week, super happy but evolving too. I really love this one, and i hope you do. Oh well glad you liked it!

btype - I love the techno vibes of this one, it feels very much like it's got that oldschool chiptune element, but with a modern techno sound. It's not got a hard hitting kick personally, but the sound is consistent and really nice. I think the vocals will elevate it personally, as it sounds nice, but devoid of the vocals it comes across a bit repetitive, however i did like what i hear, and i think there is a lot of potential here. Well done for your first entry!

DarkShadow - Bringing the harsh saws and squares as usual, but this time with some really nice melodies. Honestly this might be one of my favourites from you, the melodies are actually pleasent and it's all coherant. It can be quite in your face sure, but the melodies are catchy. Sure it's kind of long, but yet i didn't feel like it overstayed it's welcome too much. It was just fire stuff man, well done!

Jana007 - Interesting choice using your phone, but i can understand the desperation of wanting to submit, i've had it before. The lo-fi qualities here are nice, has that Garage Rock feel, and i mean like were in a Garage, very homegrown. The music itself is lovely, guitar playing is super nice as is the vocals which are sung exceptionally well. The quality is maybe a bit too lo-fi for me, some parts of the song seem very clippy. Almost like the music equivalent of a low framerate. Music wise it's perfect, it's a shame it's not recorded on a better outlet because it has so much potential. Well done!

Nukage - Going all ominous to start, almost like the start of a long epic battle. The drop is stupid hard, but not to where it's over the top, the mixing is really nice. I love the switchup between the snares it's a lovely touch. This one has a lot of nice space too, in between each parts of the drop. I wasn't expecting the future bass like chords, but i like it a lot. Honestly this is just fire, the mixing is great too, definately voting worthy awesome work!

DDRKirby(ISQ) - DDR bringing the full chiptune vibes, but with his style of course. The melodies give off strong Starfox vibes, kind of got that groove, but with some really catchy melodies. When i first heard it, i didn't know it was a remix until i saw the description, and that makes it cooler, it's always really nice to remix old entries. This is just fire man, and the mixing is just really great as always, so great i placed it third, incredible work!

Unknown Pseudoartist - This totally reminds me of contra, but with that Unknown flair. Both in the choice of sound, but also with that lo-fi aesthetic sprinkled in. The metal parts go hard, it's such a headbanging piece. The guitar tones are sick, and the melodies are just super catchy i like it a lot. Honestly there's not much else to say, it's fire stuff, well done!

A2Z - Going all out with the hard trance/techno vibe. These chords are my weakness, i just love me that oldschool stab sound, brings me back to the 90's. The melodies are very nice, this is some beautiful chord work. Some parts are a tiny bit in your face, but the overal mixing is really good, i like it a lot. The pad sounds are fire though, as is some of the porta synths, it's a lovely arrangement. Sure i would smooth a bit, but the whole thing is just soo good, i will definately give you it. Well done!

Meistr - I love me a good thick reese, it has that atmosphere without the use of orchestration. The melodies are dark and haunting, like were witnessing the downfall of civilisation. The melodies at the start implied a different rhythm, than what i was hearing, i assume more like a shuffle 6/8 beat, but instead it's more closer to like a downtempo/hip-hop beat which is super cool, plays with my brain. I don't often hear ASMR vocals, but i like it, i think it should be utilised more, and i say this as someone who doesn't consume ASMR content. This is great mixing, the melodies are fire too. The bassline goes insanely hard in the drop. For a almost 4 minute entry there is a lot of detail here, it's very dynamic too. Loved this one a lot, definately voting worthy, awesome work!

Coloradoweeks - Love to see you return, your entries are always fire. The chords are super smooth, i'm a big fan of spicy harmony, especially when done well, and not just unnessecary dissonance, and this is just perfect. The vocals are lovely too, i love that room reverb, it brings such a fullness to the sound. This is more of a stripped down track compared to others throughout this week, but it's just done exceptionally well. Those chords are wonderful, it was so good i placed it 2nd, incredible work!

Ethansight - Damn man this is amazing. Maybe it's because i'm a tiny bit biased towards uplifting stuff, but this is extremely dynamic. The chords are packed full of wonderful velocity and filter changes, and i feel like i'm candy land. The pizzicato notes was a lovely addition, bridging the gap between happy and whimsical. The track is also quite well developed as well, it isn't immediate or sudden, there is a lot of cool moments sprinkled in that really hype you up for the drop. This is honestly my favourite entry from you to date, the mixing and arrangement is fantastic. Absolutely going on the top spot, outstanding work!

Arcana - Some really cool reverb here, feel like i'm in a church. That is one cool chord at the end of that progression, didn't expect it to go there. There is some really nice spiciness here to the chords, but yet it's not too weird or out there, it's very pleasent. The vocals are mixed very nicely too, not too loud or dissonant it's very pleasent. It's just a lovely idea honestly. Yeah i'll give you this one, well done!

Top 3 - Ethansight, Coloradoweeks, DDRKirby(ISQ).

Nukage and Meistr also deserve to be on the list.

Awesome - Everyone was awesome tonight, lovely stuff!

Needs Work - Didn't feel like singling out the new lot, so nobody will be in this section.
