DarkShadow: The sample and hold arp effects here are just. too. cool. Really enjoying them a lot and their unabashedly digital nature. the bass sweeps and the odd scale choices here just make this add up. If I had to offer a critique it would be the volume, which feels a bit too loud overall. But I really like the effects that are going on here and the confusing yet catchy melody.
TVG: Really nice backing chords, nice sound selection. The song is nice and peaceful to start and has a good ambience to it. I think the drums 2/3 way through were a bit too much of a surprise for me, and I would have liked a slight setting of expectations for them. I also feel they were a bit too loud and punchy and saturated for a backing track that's set up to be so gentle. Maybe it needed an accompanying chord change or something else to "preview" the transition?
bjkmenu: I really like the rock guitar riffs going on here. I think the guitar sounds a bit muddy though and maybe needed more presence. It's almost like Mortal Kombat sounding in the beginning which was sweet.
relaxd: What a great voice. This does sound a bit unfinished (not surprising given the nature of the activity we are doing) but I liked the vocal and the overall delivery with energy and expression all around. I don't think I'm sold on the pan-echo vocals necessarily, but maybe it would have made more sense with instrumental behind it. But the vocal itself was still so strong by itself.
mcmiag: Merry Christmas to you too. This is funky and groovy and head boppin good. I don't have anything bad to say about this one.
cryref: Really nice peaceful song here - nice foley effects, soft synths, bird sounds, leaf sounds and all of that to set the mood. The piano sounded good. Nice backing synthesizer pad.

TheVideoGamer - This track is a slow evolving one, where the main ingredient is a looped ostinato non-stop, that never changes, whilst other sounds are added. The sounds in question, involve a deep bass, a variety of textural pads, bells and arps, as well as a melody that is supposed to be more of a background element. The track is consistently building up, so it can get pretty dense, but nothing too loud or painful. Towards the end, to both keep it from being repetitive and boring, and to spice up the vibe, i threw in 2 breakbeats on top of each other, in a 3/4 style, so that way, we can keep the groove going on, but without it going too far. All in all, it's interesting, what can i say. Oh well, glad you liked it!
DarkShadow - I love the square tones, and arps, it does give a bit of a chirpy feel for sure. The rhythms are sick, as is the beat. It does get a bit harsh towards the end, but the beat is super cool. Good job!
BJKMenu - Killer rock, lots of great riffs, and a killer tone. Very muffled in parts, but all intentional. Melodies are fire, both in normal form and triplet form. Nothing else to say really, it was just fire as hell. Well done!
Arcana - Loving the sound design here, it's mildly detuned, but not in a obnoxious way. The singing was also exceptionally done, not too loud or too quiet, and very clear. I like how cinematic it is, even though i don't think of it, when seeing this theme. Honestly it was so nice, i chose it for the third spot, amazing work!
Relax.D - I like the clinking of the piano, it has a sort of raindrop vibe going on. The singing is amazing, as is the effects. Overal track is quiet, not gonna lie, and there could be a bassline, but the vocal work is great! I dig it, it has a lot of potential here. Good job!
mcmiagblackmanisgod - The intro scared me, until it weirdly got harmonised. The intro was absolutely fire, it really served as a great transition to the flip. The sample flip is absolute top notch quality, with a great rhythm, and a killer mix. Merry Christmas indeed. It was so good i placed it 2nd. Amazing work!
Cryref22 - I love the appropriate foley here, it just adds a layer of realism. The synth at the start is very out of tune, but it makes sense when you try and make it like a bird. Very soft at the start, but oh man it picks up in the middle. Your melody writing is absolutely gorgeous, it's so lush and pretty, with killer phrasing. My only minor critique, is that the piano could be a tiny bit more human, but aside from that it's picture perfect. It was enough for the top spot, it was excellent. Incredible work!
Top 3 - Cryref22, mcmiagblackmanisgod, Arcana.
Awesome - BJKMenu, Arcana, mcmiagblackmanisgod, Cryref22.
