DDRKirby: Really cool trap beats and groove. Reminds me K-pop songs. Great use of the Delay Llama to invoke frog sounds!
A-zu-ra: I liked the really whimsical lead in this one and the equally whimsical beats.
cyref22: Enjoyed the peaceful vibe and the slow growing feeling of this as you proceed, it's very ambient but it feels like it's going places with the subtle glitch.
DarkShadow: This is super frantic and it's neat that you put in some encodings in here. The sound is rather dissonant to my ears but the beats and the alternating bass in the end on and off was cool.

It's not the first time it's happened, but it's definately an annoyance. I missed compo, and it wasn't because i was ill, tired or away. I literally just forgot, which i have no idea why. Not once throughout the day was compo on my mind. I think i was still assuming it was a wednesday, and not a thursday or something. Luckily i've done this theme before, so anything i make will probably just be a remix of my song Ribbit i did a few rounds back. Anyways, onto the voting!
DarkShadow - Interesting concept here! The bass work is quite harsh this week, as is the melody, it kind of hurts my ears sorry. I like distorted stuff a lot, but you sort of loose me with high pitched square noises. The chords and rhythms though are sick, this is very interesting, even if not my favourite. Good job!
Cryref22 - Loving these arps, it's mildly VGM inspired, yet also very ambient focused. The chords are absolutely beautiful in this. I don't know what it is, but even if it's only two chords, or if it's chords i'm familiar with, it's the combination of sounds and melodies that just get me. This is wonderful, amazing arrangemenet, and there is so much variety of sounds too. So wonderful i choose to place it 2nd, incredible work!
DDRKirby(ISQ) - Loving the 8-bit trap vibes here. Modern production with oldschool sounds, but done with that DDR swag. I like the throaty synth here, feels like Mongolian Throat Singing but in a filtered way. The whole track is just a banger, lots of killer synths and drum work. Not much else to say really, it's just quality trap music, with a tight groove. It was so good i decided to place it third, amazing work!
Au-zu-ra - Woah, unexpected appearance from one of the O.G's. It's been ages man, i hope you are well. I see you haven't lost your sense of style here, although this is quite tribal compared to the last time i heard your work. It's got a really lovely funky beat going on. I don't know if you know, but this reminds me a lot of P.SUS, a guy from Florida who makes whimsical cute music, with a ton of groove. This is one hell of a catchy track, the melody is so much fun. The flute melody in the middle, is a tad bit loud and mildly detuned, but it didn't really ruin the track, since the whole track is compensating for that intensity. This was just wonderful, i hope to see you again, because man that was so good, i placed it on the top spot, incredible work!
Arcana - Ooh acid music. It's uncommon to hear 303's from Arcana, but i dig it! The beat isn't strong in this one, especially for a thick 303, but i think it's intentional. It's quite a short track, but i understand the time restraints. The beat in the 2nd half is thankfully more intense than the first half, so we get a groove, but i felt at this moment we could have brought back the 303, but that's just me. The vocals are really great here, especially since this is more rap based than singing. Although the vocals don't really last long for this track, but that's just me. I see potential here, mixing could be smoother, but taste is personal. Good job!
