DarkShadow: I liked the "zap" sound, it kind of grounds things despite being so sparse. The change up is cool actually, the slowing down section with the descending pattern is really cool.
DDRKirby: This one is really nice. It's groovy and has really good sound design with chippy sounds, full play among the instruments, and F-R-O-G is a good detail too.
nextGenNick: The resonant bass is fitting. Good drum groove and I like the topline with the slightly gated rhythmic element that adds to the rushed feel.
nukage: The chops on this are pretty sick, makes for a really dynamic piece with a lot of intense hard sections that are contrasted with the lighter sections. The vocal loop repeats throughout and it holds things together a bunch but I also wished that we got a bit of a changeup from it, maybe a stronger break from it would add to the impact. These sounds get really sick toward the end.
ethansight: This is bouncy and bright and I enjoy that about this one, with all of the detailed high end, the whooshing. The cello sound does ground it a bit though I wonder if that might have been a synth instead since everything else sounds so electronic.
thevideoGamer: the frog sound is fun. I like the brightness overall in the piece. I do prefer the second half to the first one I think - I think the driving beat is more fitting, though I kind of missed the frog sound from the first half :)

TheVideoGamer - This track is done in 2 parts, as whilst i enjoyed the downtempo calming styles of the first part, i also felt it could work in a more house style, so i ended the first part at 3 minutes and made part 2 in a seperate project using the same sample but a house beat. There is also a difference in key, with the first being in D Major, and the 2nd in F# Major. Also in the first part, we use a lot more of my own melodies and chords to compliment the sampled piano, vs the 2nd half where the sampled piano takes centre stage. The piano is really the back done played by Michael Jones, and that is helped by a boom bap beat in part one (Also aided by a breakbeat), and a house beat in part 2. There is also arps, a bassline, and a melody. All in all it's a fun track, although i did loop part 2 a bit due to me running out of time lol. Oh well, glad you liked it!
DarkShadow - Hard as usual. So much bassline, it's pratically a bass overload. If anything the amount of bass, just makes it super dense, almost muffled. The loudness wasn't too bad, but some synths were personally shrill for me. But i do like how your music is unique and distinctive, i don't know anyone like it. Good job!
DDRKirby(ISQ) - This is a funky one, there is so much catchy melodies it's truly a banger. I also love the speak and spell, it really brings out the VGM in the track, even when there's already 8-bit sounds going on. The arrangement is so good too, you bring out so much sound for 4 minutes, more so than me, where i just copy and paste, yet this sounds not only clean, but high quality. I listened to it a few times, and found virtually not critiques, the mixing and melodies was top notch, it was absolutely wonderful. It was so good i placed it on the top spot, incredible work!!
NextgenNick - That is such a fun synth, the sound design is really nice. The breaks are really sick too, it has a mild Chemical Brothers vibe to the track. I personally don't think this is awful at all. The melodies were really great! The drum work was solid too. It's also got some really nice changes, the key change was top notch. Truthfully this is just catchy stuff, i really don't have anything else to say other than well done!
Nukage - This is quite the journey, it goes from a very haunting buildup, that sounds like were in a castle, all the way to a super hard hitting drop, that really feels like a caffine kick. It's mixed exceptionally well, it's such a banger. I'm also amazed the 2nd drop is nothing like the first. Now you say this is all live, and that's even more impressive, as the arrangement is so clean and well structured. I assumed if it was all live, there would be a bit of discrepency with the timing, but no, everything fits on the beat as it should, so this is some quality live performing. This is just such an incredible banger, so good i placed it 2nd, incredible work!
Ethansight - I'm not only loving the synths and the chords, but the rhythm is so interesting, it's got some great off-beat notes. Track is kind of VGM like, but with a mild funky edge, it's quite the catchy tune. The melodies are really top notch too. The drums don't make a statement here, but i feel it's entirely intentional. The arp work is also really great, the track really does a lot with 4 chords, it's funky, and also well arranged. Even if it could go further, it was enough for me to give you this. In fact it was enough for the third spot, amazing work!
Arcana - I'm liking this, it's sort of a fast electropop, also with fun synths, similar to Nick's track. I like the classic TR-808 drum machine sounds, the rhythms are quite varied too. I also really dig the chord progression, it's super interesting. The vocal work is also really great, but at times it can get pushed aside by the synth work, since there is a lot here. The vocal has a sick effect going on, but that can also make it hard to decipher without written lyrics. Some parts of the vocal might seem out of key, but i don't think it's the singing, more so the note choices were spicy. I see a lot of potential in this, good job!
Top 3 - DDRKirby(ISQ), Nukage, Ethansight.
Awesome - DDRKirby(ISQ), NexgenNick, Nukage, Ethansight.
Needs Work - DarkShadow, Arcana.
