cryref: The build up is really just too great, good sound design there and the melody accompying it was good. Leads to a huge expectation that something cool is going to happen. That didn't come this week, but I think the real beauty is that you got me super engaged into where this was going to go.

TheVideoGamer: Good use of noise and rhythm together to make something that's both got some groove but also some movement. As I mentioned I found that it wasn't actually that loud feeling because the actual dynamics don't kick you in the face between loud stuff and quiet stuff, so your ears kind of get used to it.

Unknown Pseudoartist: The synth metal here was good, I enjoyed the chip melody, the driving beat, and the rising tension overall.

Others:

DDRKirbyISQ: Yes the chords are lovely, and yeah they sound so good. The song's mixed well and has a lot of development, but I didn't vote it in the top 3 because I feel like I've heard parts of this one before :)

DarkShadow: Slow beats to start that accelerate into really quick work. This sounded really heavy both on my headphones (but also on my phone speaker, which surprised me). The noise sections here are highlight in this one and are a great contrast to the rhythmic sections.

DarkMystery: I liked the soft beginning that leads into the darker tone later, so that story came through. I would have liked some more development with rhythm in the later half of the song when the distorted instruments start coming in!

TheVideoGamer - This track is a slow developing one, as it's all about the dynamics. It's still loud and intense, but mainly in the sounds, not the development. It starts off with a thick reese pad, that filters throughout, followed by the main event, a 303, that also gets filtered to death. After that follows some white noise sweeps, siren like synth that changes octaves throughout, then some more dissonant pads, eventually leading to the start of the beat. This track essentially keeps on building up and up. When the drums hit, we cruise at 192bpm, in a gabber style, as we keep on building up. Finally we release, and all the sounds slowly fade away leaving us with nothing. All in all, it's loud and experimental, but quite cool. I dig it. Oh well, glad you liked it!

DarkShadow - Sawtooth's galore. Normally you make chaotic and somewhat weird rhythmical music, but this week i could not follow along at all. It was more chaotic than usual, and the melody was boderline noneexistant, so i had nothing to latch onto, to determine the time or tempo lol. The idea is super interesting, it feels like if IDM collabed with Gabber or something. It is a bit too all over the place, i prefer some element of structure to my weirdness, but i dig how it sounds, it's interesting. Good job!

UnknownPseudoartist - Great intro, kind of gothic sounding, despite the genre being rock. Whole thing fits a Doom vibe, like i should be playing a 90's Doom styled game. The melody in this is really good, it's a nice synth like solo, ontop of some semi-cinematic pads/strings. The overall vibe is a tad bit quiet, i feel the rock drums are doing most of the heavy lifting, however the melodies themselves are great. If we boosted the gains a bit, this could be fire, but as it stands, it's still great, just has potential. Good job!

DDRKirby(ISQ) - DKCKirby lol. Aquatic Ambience the sequal. The melody is nice as always, if clearly inspired by a certain game. The drums are absolutely fire, extremely tight snare, and punchy kick, you know how to do some exceptionally quality mixes right here. The delay effects are perfect too, it's just a nice relaxing piece. Some of the chords here really got me, it was just a a lovely piece of music, with a really nice melody. Nothing else to say, it was fire,so fire i chose it for the 2nd spot, amazing work!

Arcana - The paper sounds like it's being fried lol. The synths at the start are weird but cool, it sounds like alien modulation, but then when the drums come in, it sounds totally normal and very catchy. Loving that chord there. Vocal work is very solid here, it's so nice. The mix is great too, this is a banger. One of your better mixes for sure, it's such a nice mix and vocal performance, it sounds really well made. Nothing else to say, i will give you this one, well done!

DarkMystery727 - I really like this idea! It's essentially 4 tracks in one, with each track broken up by the transition sound involving sliced paper. Each part is different, going from a creepy yet chill first section, to a synth rock kind of 2nd section, into a meow 3rd section, that is totally original and not borrowed from previous compo's lol. The idea is really nice, but i think to make it better, each part could be drastically different from each other, to make it even more jarring, and there could be one or two parts with drums. But that's me being extremely nitpicky, the vibe is great regardless. I will definately give you this one, infact it was such a cool idea i placed it third. Amazing work!

Cryef22 - I love how this one take you in a unexpected direction. The bell at the start is kind of cute sounding even if the melody is dark, but then the main lead comes in, and the vibe shifts towards a lighter tone, it's so interesting. The track really builds up throughout, before we get to a sort of climax at the end. The 8th note synths really make it more epic than it already is. This is just absolutely wonderful stuff, probably the best you've ever made to date. It was so good i chose it for the top spot, outstanding work!

DDRKirby(ISQ) - "torn up":

i really liked the lofi vibe and the paper tearing sound used for the transitions, which was neither too long nor too short, and it fits the theme very well

cryref - "should have read the terms and conditions":

i really liked the higher energy in the melody and the plucks. especially the ones in the background which start at ~1:03
