Colorado weeks with a killer development - I really liked the emotional tone that your voice took on during this to reflect the pain, as well as the development with the drums. During the pre chorus I think I wanted the voice to be more up front but the tone and the delivery sounded pretty great for a first cut.
Unknown Pseudoartist: It's like a spaghetti western song. The guitar lead sound matches my expectations, we have roosters, a slow and good sounding drum kit. Great sound choices overall and then we get a nice melancholy flute. I enjoyed the arrangement as well, with the breakdown into the drums. I think I would have liked to hear the backing guitar play a different riff as we get the second flute melody but this is good stuff.
cyref22: Great arp - the chord is interesting and the sound is interesting, it's a good way to start the song. I enjoyed the subtle modulation, it added a lot.
DarkShadow: Crunchy chords as always and dissonance without sounding unintentional. Things in this one sound pretty "regular" almost, since the rhythm in the drums and chords are 4/4 (I think) but I really liked the self-resonating sweep and the chord changes throughout.
A2Z: Really great guitar and percussion. It's peaceful and upbeat, almost like town music. Has almost a cosmopolitan sound to it.
Lyra: Great voice delivery, a cappella but yet it's interesting to listen to and I liked the development especially as we get to the chorus.
DarkMystery: Did you receive this? There's a lot of dynamics in it so that's nice and emotional. I think I would have liked if the spoken word was more synced up with the music, or if the music was more in the background to emphasize the vocal. Some parts of the voice get too far in the background, but I liked the overall expressiveness of the poem. The track itself is a good gentle background song.
TheVideoGamer: Nice work here, I liked the overall acid sound-yet-not-acid and the chord thickness. I found the kick drum loud at first but then your ears get used to it. Interesting that there's a lot of repeated notes in the bass that don't go anywhere - they add some tension and anticipation in the song.
InvisibleObserver: Good atmosphere and chords and the balance in the mix is really well done. Guitar is pretty!
turbo852: The song feels jaunty and upbeat - like a trek in the desert. The lead is a bit loud but that's easily fixed. The bass sounds good - later it would be cool to hear it do some syncopation if you develop this out.

I joined in this week, so it's voting time!
TheVideoGamer - This track is quite the journey for TVG standards, it isn't just progression A then progression B, but rather there is a lot of stuff going on. So much so, it's kind of a dense wall of sound, a TVG trademark. I do like the melodies and chords though, there is a lot of cool elements, it's just quite intense and in your face. The first part, is the intro to the beat, and this is where we get some Perc sounds from Billie Ellish, a call and response kind of melody on two synths, and some soft pad chords. The bassline is one-note, but that's on purpose. There is also custom chords, and pad sounds ripped from Noirrz, so there is a best of both worlds here. Lastly to tie it all together, there is a 303 line, that goes filter crazy, and a ending where it's mostly stripped down. All in all, it is quite dense, but the ideas are very cool in my opinion. Oh well, glad you liked it!
Cryef22 - Cool arps, this is kind of futuristic sounding. The arps themselves sort of remind me of Chameleon, a classic DnB track from the 90's. I love how this one keeps on building, more sounds is added as you listen. It doesn't feel like i'm in the desert or something, but more like i'm in a computer or something. I also love how the sound opens towards the end, it's great. I can't really say anything else, it was fire, so fire i chose it for the third spot, amazing work!
DarkShadow - Oh snap, this thing is INTENSE. I know you make hard hitting music, but this was practically clipping. The whole thing was in my face for the entire runtime, a bit of mild volume changes would make this really great. I do like the time signatures though, this is a lot of fun, good job!
Lyra_183 - Killer singing, i love how you are sustaining some great melodies. All i kept hearing was a consistent beat throughout, that's how on beat it was. Of course i'm not saying it needs a beat, i'm saying i can envision a beat throughout, which indicates how good the melodies are. Lovely singing, i really couldn't see any reason to not give you this one, it's great singing. Well done!
A2Z - 7th's are my weakness, these are some killer chords. It's got that uncertainty, that i always like, because you don't know where it's going. The spanish influence is strong here, yet it doesn't feel cheap or a copout, it's sick. The melodies are catchy, and the changes are nice, especially those swelled pads. If i were to be nitpicky, the castanets are mildly loud, but not too loud, so it's fine, but aside from that i absolutely loved it. It was so good i decided to place it 2nd, amazing work!
UnknownPseudoartist - I'm loving the Spaghetti Western feel, i should be in A Fistful of Dollars right now lol. The drums are hard hitting, but not too loud, and the guitar has that nice twang. I love how it changes, the flutes are nice, the strings are eerie, and the breakdown in the middle is great. If i had to be nitpicky, it's a little thin, but that's me being really pedantic, the track is just great, i don't see anything else to see, i will give you this one, it was fire. Well done!
InvisibleObserver - This one is super weird and cool, because it's hard to tell what the melodic ideas are, but yet i love it. It's part calm, part uplifting, but also dark, yet it's not dissonant. I also really like the heavy detuned uke sounds. Sort of a mild jumpscare, but yet it wasn't annoying. Normally heavy detune can put me off, but this track is so strange, yet i feel captivated, i love how unique it is, even with the consonant sounds. It was more than enough for me to give you this one, awesome work!
Arcana - That was a sudden dynamic shift compared to the last one, it's quite intense. However it's not too loud, but it is unexpected. The melodies are really interesting, because it sounds very whimsical and cute, which for this theme is not something i'd imagine. The vocals made me laugh i'm not gonna lie, i'm not used to this level of chipmunk heh. I don't think i can take this seriously i'm sorry. I thought about it, and some elements were a little off putting, because its not taking itself seriously even though you want it to be serious. Still though, it's a ton of fun, good job!
DarkMystery727 - Calming and uplifting melodies, i feel like i'm on a cloud, but a little more intense. Never seen the original audio clip, but it works well in the track. The volume of the vocals are a bit upfront compared to the rest, it can be a bit loud, however i dig the melodies here, it's very cute. It's definately a unique idea, that i can see a lot of potential for, it's very nice. Good job!
Turbo852 - This is the 2nd track with 707 drums heh. The melodies are very cool, but my god it's loud. I don't mind distortion, but this is full on clipping it kind of hurt i'm sorry. The rest of the sounds are good though, but this level of clipping sadly put me off i'm sorry. It's a fun idea though, good job!
Coloradoweeks - Happy Anniversary! I thought it was all Acapella, until the strings come in, and then it becomes warm and emotive, it really fits the theme. The layered vocals are soo good, it's not harmonisation, yet it sounds like it is harmonising. The drum fills really turn this into some awesome, it was already nice, but then it makes it even nicer, especially with how it flows and the way the fills are played. I do wish it was longer, and the vocals get a little quiet at the end, but i am known to nitpick, it was just awesome. Despite my critiques i actually thought it was so fire i picked it for the top spot, incredible work!
