I managed to stay up for the party this week, a rarity for me, but that's because there isn't a lot of entries, and i had the energy. Onto the voting!
TheVideoGamer - I do not have much to say about this because it is extemely simple. It's drone music at it's core, but with a beat in the middle, making it not drone haha. There is 2 pad layers both phased for the main drone effect, whilst piano chords are woven in, and a main synth pad that comes in, also acts as the melody. It functions both as a synth lead and a pad. The beat is a standard break, played in 2/4 and looped nonstop. No changes, no fills, it just repeats and repeats. The only other sounds are in the form of samples, that also get woven in and out. They just add something to keep it from being too repetitive, and to salvage my beat block. Either way i think it's quite cool, and very much a zone out kind of track. Oh well, glad you liked it anyways!
DarkShadow - Loving the sawooth craziness, you never seem to make a track in 4/4 lol. Not what i think off with the theme, and it's quite hard to follow this week. However it is very cool, and suprisingly not dissonant. I still personally think it has potential, especially for 50 seconds, but it was very cool. Good job!
DDRKirby(ISQ) - This is beautiful, very emotive, and uplifting. I feel like doing something productive with my life. It's not the most complex of chord progression, but it is one that makes you feel good. The mix is on point too, i love how much music you provide us for 3 minutes, there's just so many killer changes. It sounds like 8-bit but yet it sounds modern. Nothing else to say i loved it a lot. In fact it was so good i decided to place it on the top spot, incredible work!
DarkMystery727 - Continuing the key of D Major but in an even more happier way. Super soft and quiet, but the melodies are so chill and peaceful, it fits so well. Not much overall sound, but simplcity is the best. It tells a lot with so little sounds, i really feel the relaxing nature of the theme. I couldn't think of anything else to say, it's wonderful. Wonderful enough for me to place it third. Amazing work!
Nukage - Really killer intro, the first of a few to go against the happiness into something dark. Vocals are awesome, reverb is so nice, but the real star is the buildup into the drop. That drop was definately a WTF moment, because it is excellent. Mixed exceptionally well, especially for a hard hitting moment where it could be too loud, and very impactful. Whole thing was just hard throughout, i couldn't stop head banging, man you nailed the vibe. Not what i think of with the theme, but the exceptional quality was more than enough for me. In fact it was so good i placed it 2nd. Incredible work!
obScene - Lol the vocal samples. I need to check the orignal hah. This is very weird, it's part happy, part creepy yet it works. I'd thought it was gonna be too dissonant or something, but no it actually sounds so cool. The melodies are catchy, and there is a lot of killer dynamics. Whole thing is just strange yet addicting, and funny as shit with the vocals. It's just lovely stuff, well done!
Nextgennick - Really digging this trance vibe, the arps are great, as is the lead synths. Kind of postive, but with a great sense of adventure. Drums are very nice, and it's mixed really well too, well except for a mild bit of overcompression, but it's all subjective. I like the passing note at the end it's really interesting. I relistened and it's hard to judge this one, because i both like it, but think there's potential for more. In the end i just slight gave you this one, because there was more to like than dislike. Well done!
InvisibleObserver - So many spacy pads, it really feels like a cotinuation of my entry, but with more textural ambience, than my straight up drone piece. The bassline is dirty, but not too in your face, and the chords are ethereal and trippy. The last part is pretty funky as shit, the break work is amazing. It's just mixed exceptionally well, i couldn't stop grooving. Absolutely wonderful stuff, awesome work!
Arcana - Really digging the techno here, although not what i think of when i see these images, it's quite the cool vibe. Snare is a little quiet, but i'm ok with that. Sadly though the vocals are loud as shit i'm sorry. I don't mind pure accapella or piano and vocals, but this is just too loud singing wise. The chords though are killer, the vibe at the end is extremely catchy, it's very cool. I just sense a lot of potential mix wise, but either way it's very cool. I love the vibe, good job!

DarkShadow: Enjoyed the slightly swung sounding rhythm here. Almost gives me a sense of a sea shanty. But not really, since the song is in an odd meter!
nukage: Really epic sound here, I enjoyed the choir pads backing the mix, they give everything a bit of air behind the grit. I thought the rhythm synth was a bit loud on first entrance, but the rest of it is really on point and gives that epic feeling.
DDRKirby: Really great composition and sound design overall, it's a delight to hear the song progress. From the start we get such a feel-good sense from this one and we keep up that warm comforting feeling throughout.
