Of the on-time entries, I felt that these were most theme-appropriate, so they got my votes. I would have liked a bit more inspection from Garian, whose musical idea was good but lacked exposition. Wassup Thunder had a pleasantly expanded idea.

Despite multiple setbacks plaguing compo, i've finally managed to get my entry in, as did others. Basically a lot of entries wern't going in, wern't playing, or if they were, it was only 20 seconds at best. But thanks to the ThaSauce team, we deduced it as a lack of storage, and now all of the entries are in perfect order, save for a quick Lunarice submission, sneaky sneaky. This meant, my entry was actually shared in the discord, so replying to comments won't be nessecary, which let's face it, it never really is anyways haha. Onto the voting!

TheVideoGamer - This track was a nightmare to upload, as everyone (Not just me) had uploading problems, because the entries were not playing, or only playing around 24 seconds. It also didn't help that i had to rename this file like 5 times for it to work. Thanks to the ThaSauce team, all entries are working which is wonderful. This one is a cold and calculated beat, designed at a slow tempo of 88bpm and in a key of Bb Minor. Minor key's aren't as common from me as you think, or maybe the themes haven't been as dark, who knows. The synth is very delay heavy, and the break is deliberately crispy, to give it that hard hitting downtempo/hip-hop edge. It's a track that is very section heavy, but yet keeps the same flow throughout. So we have section A, then B then back to the main section, then C etc. But even with all the different sections, you're still mostly in Bb and the vibe is consistent. It's different enough from me, whilst not being too out there, i like it. Glad you liked it people!

Garian - I had to check to make sure this entry went in normally too lol, 24 seconds is barely even advert length, so i assumed it was a failed upload, but no it really is 24 seconds haha. That is barely enough for anything. I mean i appreciate the upload, but i can't even judge this, it's literally no music lol (Sorry mate). It's pleasent sounding either way though, it's a good sketch, if barely a piece of music. Good job!

DarkShadow - That is an 80's kickdrum if i've heard it, for a style that is clearly EDM sounding. Not expecting swelled chords, i like it, it's faintly atmospheric in the sea of dissonance and hard hitting volume changes. The swells are a bit too loud not gonna lie, and the drums don't go anywhere this week, which is interesting as you make some really dynamic drum grooves, but this one was a bit too...stagnent i don't know. Either way taste is personal, and i do love how each one of your entries leaves me smiling, so you are doing something right, even if not exactly for me. Good job!

Koekepan - Cool plucky arps, lots of tasty delay effects here, and a nice Kraftwerk styled techno beat. The lead synth feels like a G-Funk style melody, even if the style is EDM lol. I like how it's a slow developer, but there is a lot of nice mellow changes. It's calming, but also has an element of mystery to it, it's perfect for this theme. Not an expansive piece sure, it's very realiant on soft sounds, but i like that, not everything needs to have such a loud explosive sound. It was just really pretty, and not too long too, i didn't feel bored or tired it was lovely. So lovely i chose it for the 2nd spot, it was awesome, amazing work!

Wassup Thunder - Woah not even an intro, just straight into Wassup Eurobeat action. It feels like such a classic Wassup sound, i don't know what else to say. The whole thing is powerful, i feel like i'm racing, not scheming lol. Quite intense, and some melodies are perhaps a little too loud for me, however you nailed the melody ideas, it's quite the catchy piece. I especially like the different chord changes here, even if we stick to mostly C Major and E Minor it sounds quite expressive. I think this just needs a bit of smoothing, so it's not too in your face and loud in parts, but the melodies were absolutely fire, so it's definately got a lot of strong moments. Good job!

DDRKirby(ISQ) - Watery arps for the win! I thought it was gonna be 4/4, but it ended up being 3/4, which is even better. The arps in this are lovely, i know you have made some seriously good chord progressions, but this one is just especially lovely i don't know why. It feels very much like a mixture of space and water, it's very floaty. It sort of works in a DKC game i don't know, maybe a replacement for Aquatic Ambience. The drums are extremely granular for a DDR entry, it's so different and unique from you, but still extremely catchy, maybe the most cinematic Entry from you to date. Absolutely love this one, it's amazing. So incredibly done i ended up giving this the top spot. Incredible work!

Arcana - Sick robotic vocals here, loving the processing done to your voice! This is some killer warbly chords too, it feels like it belongs to a movie. It's hard to decipher what your saying in the intro, because of the loudness of the chords, however the main vocal is mixed extremely well. Honestly this is a sick entry from you, great chords, and killer drums. The vocals are mildly pitchy, but it does not detract from the entry at all, it's really sick. Like with all things, smoothing is beneficial, but i didn't find any problems with the mix overall, and whilst the vocals are a tiny bit pitchy, i don't think it was enough to detract it from the awesome ranking, it was great. Well done!

Misael.K - That is one distorted synth, it's quite raw sounding. I know you make quite lo-fi tunes, but this is probably the most ditorted i've seen you in a long time. Not i was not expecting you to go full on cute wow what the hell. Is it the darkest themes that bring out the happiest in Misael lol. This is extremely uplifting for a Misael track it's beautiful. The piano is extremely crispy in a good way, but the melody is a bit buried in this one, effectively making it a background element more than anything, but it was nice. This one ends pretty quickly, so a few repeat listens was needed, but truthfully, whilst not what i think when i see the theme, it was extremely beautiful, and so it's definately worth giving it to you, took a few minutes picking between you and Meistr for the third spot, and in the end i gave it to you, it was awesome. Amazing work!

Meistr - Interesting vocal tone, it's very deep and breathy, you have a lot of really cool unique vocalists at your dispoable. I love the break in this, it's not something to expect from you, but it's processed really nicely. It's quite cinematic here, the bass is very 80's sounding and quite thick. Some drum fills took me out of it, rhythm wise, i don't think it matches up, however the rest more than makes up for it. I dig the processed effects on the vocal at the end, it's fire as hell, and the chords were killer. You nailed the melodies it's awesome, and the tremelo effects really add to it too. I love this one, even if there is more potential here. Took a few minutes picking between you and Misael.K for the third spot, both were amazing, but sadly in the end i gave it to Misael.K, but yours was amazing too, definately voting worthy. Awesome work!

Lunarice - A sneaky 30 seconds from you. Trying to get one past us eh. As with Garian 32 seconds is nothing to judge, it's literally zero music lol. However i think this is an incomplete render, as it just stops abruptly mid song. What i heard was nice though, loving the creepy horror movie style mallet sounds, kind of chilling. But yeah i cannot give you this just from only 30 seconds of music i'm sorry. Good job though!
