TheVideoGamer - This track is another take on my Stratosphere track, that i began in Round 640. I wasn't intending it to be my official theme song at the time, but overtime i adopted it because it aligns a little with my ethos. That is, to make music outside the norm. The original track is great because it does two things. It's super fast and loud, at around 220bpm, almost faster than Sonic the Hedgehog, but the melodies are very warm and comforting, despite it having a mild space theme to it, and the track has not attention to detail as such. It's just me going "Who cares, it's different". Why should i make music for the masses, when i should just be myself. Overtime i adopted it as my theme for that reason, and as of now, i've done 4 remixes of it, and i don't expect to stop anytime soon. In round 651 i took the original and made it faster and more wilder, in round 800 i made two versions, one of a slow breakbeat style, the other a piano thing, and in this round i go back into hardcore territory, but at 180bpm. The kickdrum is more techno oriented, and the melodies are mostly doubling the chords but in different rhythms. It might be annoying or overdone, but the title rings true. It does feel like that classic TVG track, where everything is spammed as loudly as it can as fast as it can, because that's what it's all about. All in all, i submitted even if not what you were expecting. Oh well, glad you liked it anyways!

Arcana - Nice of you to say hi, even if you're at Magfest. I really like the percussion in this, it's pretty cool, the chord progression is also nice too. I was also suprised to hear vocals in this too, especially since you're away from your studio, but it is nice to hear. Of course since you're out and about this definately seems rushed. But i do appreciate the nice melody and chords, it just needs a lot of smoothing. Maybe less repetition in the vocal work, more stronger beats, and more of a slifgtly quantized arrangement. Still though, this was sick, good job!

Relax.D - Sick beats mate, nice of you to drop in even if you're mostly a 2hts dude. The vocal work almost for a second reminded me of some latin choir, maybe in the reverb used. I do like the white noise effects, but man it's a bit too high pitched for me. The ending was very interesting, it's quite glitchy and random. Do think more could be done, it's nice to hear a glitchy drum effect, but the vocals aren't as utilised as it could, it tends to mostly come for like 2 seconds. The effects though are insane, props to the really cool effects, i heard all sorts of glitches and slapbacks, and granular delays, it was sick. I like the riff at the end, even if the track just stops for no reason. Lots of potential here to make it awesome, i'm glad you've submitted at the end of the day, good job!

Meistr - That is one hell of a 2006 Trance kick. I feel like i'm listening to a early Ferry Corsten record or something. Bold of you to include a full on intro section for only a tracktime of 1:49. This kind of stuff would work for 5 minutes, not for such a short length lol. The synth work is amazing here, i totally feel the early trance vibe. The mix is quite in your face, but i think it's intentional, as it's representing that oldschool trance vibe. Again the length is 1:49 and you choose to add about 40 seconds of intro to that, which is just percussion, so the real meat is over before you know it. Basically if the mix was smoothed a little, the melodies were extended so i don't feel left wanting more, and there was more of an arrangement, i could see myself voting for this. It's such an amazing idea, that alas is way too short for me. Still though, i'm not ashamed to call this a banger, it was a lot of fun. Good job!

Unknown Pseudoartist - Ooh i like the SNES vibes. I don't know what game it is, but i am reminded of NBA Jam for some reason, but more rock like. Really digging the chords and drums, it totslly feels like a rock song, but with all SNES instruments. A bit of a quiet mix personally, i would up the volume, and a better ending would be sick, as the sound effect was a bit of a jumpscare, as well as being abrupt. I don't have any problems with this track to be fair, it just needs more boosting, and a bit of a ending vs what i heard. But truthfully i found there was a lot more to like than dislike, so that's why i'm giving you this one. It's sick, well done!

DDRKirby(ISQ) - DDR going to his fast phase. This is actually probably faster than a standard DDR DnB beat. It's interesting because the beat is played in half-time at around 90-100bpm but we feel it at a much faster tempo. I'm loving the chiptune elements in this, such catchy melodies, however i'm not suprised, you know how to put down a melody it's very catchy. The chords have a bit of a science feel to them, even if mostly minor. I'm very much hyped and ready to go on a run here, the melodies and mix is wonderful. Nothing else to say, you've nailed this theme exceptionally well, it was fire. So fire i chose it for the top spot, incredible work!

Jett Swole - More guitars! This time were in the land of Doom, but not only quite fast, but very aggressive. It's exceptionally crispy, from the kick and snare. The drums set me up for metal music, but the guitar sounds feel very much like SNES sounds personally, so it doesn't line up. It's interesting to go for Metal drums, but on MIDI guitar, that's unique i will give you that. I just feel hyped for aggressive guitars for this drum beat, but instead it just feels flat, i'm sorry. I do dig the melodies in this a lot though, especially that square melody. It has a lot of potential here, good job!

obScene - Lol the Heart of Gold reference, that's pretty funny. I do like how you've transcribed the song onto chiptune elements mixed in with some pretty amazing synths. You're actually making a song i cannot stand, into something quite beautiful. It's really annoying as i don't want to upvote this because this song is so obnoxiously overplayed by people who like to spam the piano, and i don't think the song is that special (It's just me, i know taste is personal), but this is a beautiful arrangement for such a song. The different moods and rhythms really make this. If i had to endure this song, it would be this arrangement, which is the nicest arrangement of the song i've ever heard. Still won't make me like the song, but objectively i cannot pass on this one, so i will have to give you this. I could vote for this, despite my complaints lol. Awesome work!

Misael.K - Ahh the Andalusian Cadence, i wasn't around here for that long, so i don't know how many times i've heard you made a song with this progression, but it is a nice one either way. This is one beautiful piece i must say, because it's more than just a major or minor chord. There is some lovely guitar strums here, a really nice reverbed melody, and some light drum work, that whilst it is a bit quiet, adds nicely to the beat. The 2nd half is a great changeup, we go into a hard hitting rock vibe, making use of the dynamic shifts. Again it could be smoothed, that guitar is going a lot of the heavy lifting mix wise, however melody wise it's pretty awesome, so i'll give you this one. It was enough for the 3rd spot, amazing work!

Coloradoweeks - Nice chords, there is definately a sense of uneasiness in the whole track. It sounds normal at a glance, but there is a lot of glitchy elements here. For one thing, there is a cool amen in the background, and the vocal work is very chopped. It's an amazing vocal to be honest, but i'm not sure if it's yours or from the internet. It definately just sounds like someone taking a modern pop song and making it twisted, it's super cool. Some of the filter effects were a little overpowering, but that's me just looking to nitpick as i always do. Honestly it was super cool and unique, and a really lovely vibe overall. So lovely i picked it 2nd, amazing work!
