coloradoweeks' song was a clear development on the theme, and very well delivered.

Dex did a good job as well, with the progressive return aptly illustrated in the music.

Meistr's song was good as well, though not quite as polished in delivery.

@Misael.K - Yep were going on an 6 minute adventure. Even my track length is fitting haha.

@Meistr - You really think lol. Mine doesn't have any of that Anime harmony that people recognise the shows for.

@JH Sounds - Super peaceful music huh? Time to kill someone lol.

@Koekepan - Saddle up a chicken? I'm sorry i don't speak Final Fantasy....

@Garian - Ooh Disney comparisons this week.

@NickC - Yes they're beats ;)

@Garian - What else was i gonna do? Start whipping out a 200bpm gabber beat? Haha

@NickC - Haha exactly what i said. It's like we speak the same language.

@Garian - 3/4 breakbeats are now the new TVG sound lol. I don't even need to say anything, you guys do this for me.

@Misael.K - What does Chungus actually mean? All i see is an oversized Bugs Bunny. What's the signifigance?

@Garian - What the lol

@Garian - Very kind of you, thanks you!

@Everyone - Thanks for the kind words!

Now then...

TheVideoGamer - This track is another 6 minute adventure, that i'm surprised i managed to still submit a little earlier despite the boat load of the crashes in this. I had like 4 crashes from the start alone. Yeah towards the end it got better, but i still managed to crash quite a lot, so i guess either the track is a bit on the simpler side, or maybe i was just fast, oh well. This track begins with 2 string layers, with a Double Bass playing the bassline, and a string ostinato in a 3/4 time signature. This runs throughout the whole track, minus a few B sections and the like. The melody is a simple flute sound, as i was trying to make it more organic. In this one i wanted to make it less electronic, and instead made it more....acoustic. Yes there's synths in this, but they aren't the star as such, or at least they are complimentary. The track was supposed to be pure beatless, but i couldn't help myself, both for time and convivence, but also it adds a bit of a switchup, whilst retaining the adventurous playful sound. I tried to make many chord changes in this, for different moods. All in all, it's simple but very fun, glad you liked it!.

Lyra_183 - Ooh funky guitar! Woow this is unexpected, and i'm all for it. It's got a really funky vibe to the whole thing. I love the drums in this as well, it's very syncopated. Honestly this was great! Loved the changes too, i'll give you this one, well done!

THEGREATDESTROYER22 - Lovely cold pads, feels very much on point for an abandoned theme. That bassline is insanely dirty, i need to know how you do it, my god this is an insane bassline. Drum work is very hard hitting and industrial, and the textures are thick as well, great background spookiness. The background pads could benefit a bit more from being brighter, the bass and drums are doing all of the work, and the rest is just merely cameo's in a T.V show. They need to be apart of the main cast too lol. One could argue this is a bit on the loopy side, the drums and bass are really making their presence known, but with the addition of various changes in the background elements, that really make it more strange and unnerving. I'm kind of conflicted, as one it's a fantastic idea with an amazing bass sound, regardless of whether it's a preset or not, and two it's got a really great melody in all this, but it is quite a powerful bassline that sort of masks a bit of the melodies, and one could argue it's a bit...repetitive. I'll still give you this, because there was way more to like than dislike, after all i don't have authority on what's good or bad, i just listen based on my opinions and what i sort of look for in a track. Feel free to disagree with me anytime, i can take it. Anyways, this is me rambling garbage now, so well done!

cotmm68030 - And of course the 6 minute man in full swing. Bring all the textures! In all seriousness we start of very lovely, with some great mallet ambience, on what sounds like a Gamelan imitation, followed by some very deep rumbling bass sounds, and strange effects. It won't be long before i get a PM telling me of what mysterious contraption you audio recorded this time. It fascinates me how you take the most unorthodox of sounds, but still make it sound like the farthest thing from the original, you are just awesome at the sound design. Honestly this is just great, i totally felt the dynamics, and the tense unerving spooky feel. Everyone is going spooky tonight, even though both images are set in the day, in a more calming environment, it's kind of cool. Anyways, i loved this, awesome work!

Garian - Great basslines and chords, loving the stop and start and stop motion. Almost sounds like singing vocals, but yet it's a synth. Melody is tight, although i feel this has potential. I like how everything blends, but i feel there could be more thicker drums, more chord changes, maybe copy and paste, but add another melody or two. I feel like the real meat only lasts for 20 seconds, whilst the rest is mostly buildups or solo bass. Maybe mixing touches too. Again i'm not perfect either, my tracks can be a bit underdeveloped or poorly mixed too, so don't take this as a negative. Lots of lovely potential to be has here, good job!

DarkShadow - Ahh there is that waveform again lol. That is quite the saw workout you have here. The drums are so sidechained it blurs out any really distinctive melody. Sounds like one giant laser fight. I'm trying to be as respectful as i can here, because sadly it's not my cup of tea, but i do like the melodies and production here, you did showcase some fun ideas here, so all is not lost. Good job!

Meistr - Getting better? You make way better songs than me! I would never do this in an hour, even if you ignore my limitations anyways. If this is your singing then holy damn, this is insane. You are such an incredible singer. If not, it's still an incredible vocalist. The piano is beautiful in this, simple and effective, but has a lot of lovely dynamics in this. Kind of an emotional ballad. This is really just lovely, and well developed. So good i ended up putting it on the 3rd spot, amazing work!

JH Sounds - Ok that melody totally reminds me of Future's Mask Off. If this is not inspiration, then i guess every melody is copywritten lol. I dig the 3/4 shuffle in this, and very smooth semi easy listening vibes. Strings have a lot of attack on them, that's a minor detail that i've noticed, that is probably me on nitpick mode again. Ignoring that this was lovely, and had a really nice melody. Well done!

Koekepan - You sure do love your delay's in your tracks. I really dig the background pads in this, it's kind of has a space choral feel, even if the theme isn't space. The delay effects are really cool, and honestly not expected, but it works so well. Despite it being more closes to a one chord drone, there is enough not changes to make it really dynamic, and almost like were in 20 chords. One could argue it's a bit on the underdeveloped side, but apparently this was made in 45 minutes, and honestly even if it's more on the simpler side, i still find it quite beautiful, but i think the pad sounds had a lot to do with it. If it wasn't for the pads, it could be too minimal. I think this is really lovely, and at this point i'm rambling again. Well done!

DDRKirby(ISQ) - Woow that is a lovely guitar melody. I think that is a sample, but i could be proven wrong, as i've been so many times. The piano is a lovely compliment to the guitar work. Really nice Asian flair in the sound. It's just very pretty, and has a lovely punch beat. The vocals really make this awesome, i was grooving throughout, this is amazing. I listened to it again, and it was beyond amazing. So amazing in fact, i put it on the top spot. Incredible work!

Coloradoweeks - Great vinyl crackle, i really feel like i'm in the 70's. The drums are lovely, and the chords are super smooth. It totally feels like i'm relaxing. The singing is awesome as always, i don't even know why i comment on your singing, because it's always incredible. I'm missing a good bassline to really take it over the edge, but it's still amazing, it's just a small detail to really make it shine. Still loved it though, still awesome, in fact so awesome, i ended up putting you on the 2nd spot, amazing work!

Nukage - Dirty basslines ooo. Except this is not a synthesizer, but a full on metal bassline. The drop went insanely hard, and really showcases a lot of technical chops. It's very hard to mix metal, so hats off for doing it perfectly. Lots of seriously good chugging here, it's pretty amazing. Nothing else to add, i just loved it from start to finish, awesome work!

Dex - Lovely melody, reminds me of G-Funk for some reason, even though this is more science fiction. Great chords and melody, very hummable. The guitar was unexpected this, i was expecting more of a synth melody per say (Even if there is one). The bongos really add for a nice ethnic rhythm, this is left wing for you, as i expect hard hitting rock, but this is very synth heavy, and i love it. Even if it's structured like hard rock, everything is more or less synthesized or orchestral inspired. This is just a lovely piece, awesome work!

NickC - Always down for a kalimba sound. It's kind of weakness lol. Great eastern string work here, feels very much like were in a different country almost. That melodies are very cool, lots of the classic NickC seasonings i expect and love. It has a very airy sound, despite all the mostly Asian inspired instrumentation. I dig this a lot, it's very unique, but very weirdly calming, and has a lot of great sounds, awesome work!

Arcana - Nice square work here, feels very chiptune. Some parts could be a little quantized, but this is just me. Your vocal work in this has gotten soo good, it's a big improvement from a year ago. Yes towards the end it can be a little aggressive, but it's still a lovely voice, and mix. Some melodies are a little dissonant, i don't know if this is a live performing issue or something else, but in one or two spots, i felt some notes were out of place. All in all it has a lot of potential, this was a fine mixed entry, with a lovely idea. It just needs a bit more to make it perfect, don't give up you are doing fantastic. Good job!

Handknit - I'm liking the pads in this, very cold, very nerve racking. I dig the atmosphere, totally suited for a forest vibe. I was expect more of a chill piece, but then you introduce a very weird sequence sound, that doubles the tempo into a more semi-techno vibe. Not the route i would have gone, but i'm glad they're more experimental pieces in Compo, diversity is a big and beautiful thing. The atmosphere is lovely in this, but the speedy synth work was a little...off putting to be nice. The drums are cool, kind of IDM like. Towards the end, we get very much a Pentatonic scale melody idea, which is probably the synths used. I do feel we could do with more atmosphere in this, the fast synth work didn't work with the images, even if it's very beautiful. Probably the most melodically beautiful Handknit track i've ever heard, it has a lot of potential, good job!

Misael.K - Always a rare treat to hear you sing. That is a lovely piano progression, and a nice vocal melody. Some very mild pitch issues in this, but again it's super mild, and probably unnoticeable. The piano is upfront in this, so it can make it a little hard to identify the vocal parts in some areas. The chords are beautiful though, amazing chord choices. Honestly it's a lovely idea, it just needs finesse to make it beautiful. Thought about this one, and even though my critiques are legit, i'll still give you this, as the piano ideas were beautiful, and i really dig your lyric writing (Awesome lyric writing), it was again lovely. Well done!
