TheVideoGamer - Nothing detailed to talk about here, because it's mostly a looped chord progression of about 8 bars, on repeat, while different solos come in. I was imitating jazz here (Or at least jazzy enough for my liking). I say imitate, because i was using electronic instruments here, rather than actual acoustic instruments. The drums are also playing an 8 bar groove, with a crash cymbal that opens each repeat. The biggest solo is the vibraphone one (Which is a synth), because that's when we break it down to just the bassline, hence the jazz. For what i've got, this is actually done well, and i enjoyed making it. I hope you guys enjoyed listening to it.
Lyra_183 - Wait there's no background noise? Did you get a new microphone? That's sweet! Your voice sounds soo clean, this is great you are one step closer to awesome music, you really are improving. Keep at it! Good job!
DarkShadow - Have you ever done a track at 999bpm? Lol that would be funny if you did. This is getting into speedcore territories now lol. Ending was abrupt. Good job!
cotmm68030 - Nice tight vibes here, feels like a mix of experimental music, with a hint of ambience and industrial. Vocals were very cool, very breathy and deep i love it. Shame about the DAW crashing, i've had that happen loads of times. Oh well what came out was a lovely listen, so all is not lost. The drums are very cool, it's like percussive, but yet it's trying to sound like a kick and snare combo. Enjoyed this a lot, well done!
Nukage - So this is an edited live jam? Is the jam 1 hour or something? Great Reese's and great drums. Compression is lovely as always, really liking the intense ducking, super punchy, makes me pumped. I feel like i would loved to have seen you actually perform this on equipment. When i listen i can't tell if i'm hearing a completed track or not. Nonetheless this was a ton of fun, well done!
DDRKirby(ISQ) - Piano and rain. The ultimate lo-fi combo. If you ever want to know if it's a lo-fi track, just look out for the rain lol. No but seriously, the melodies in this one are lovely. This is totally fitting for a closing sign. I can kind of see this as an LP, each track from Compo kind of has a similar tempo (Minus DarkShadow's speedcore lol). Beautiful relaxing stuff, the chords were awesome, and the beat is nice and tight. Incredible work!
Misael.K - Smooth chords, really liking the synth motif's here. Very tight drum groove, and the basslines are killer. The snare is a bit lose in the mix, but that could be intentional, i kind of expected a bigger hit or something, but that's probably me. The chords and melody though were lovely! Honestly the snare thing is soo minor, it almost feels like i'm nit-picking. Lovely stuff, well done!
Coloradoweeks - I think a lot of people are doing jazzy chords, so that's why people call it an LP lol. Lovely house vibes, this is a great switchup from stuff i've normally heard from you (Or at least from what i can remember). It's always nice to break out in your comfort zone. The reverb isn't too much actually, contrary to what you think, it's lovely, great singing, Ton of fun, Awesome work!
NickC - Nice string action here, lovely cello and double bass going on here. Kind of mellow, feels like a deep orchestra. Nice melodies great movement. The main piano melody is very tight. It can get a bit too bass heavy, and a little dissonant at the end, however the melodies were really good, great work here. Good job!
JH Sounds - Guitar JH makes a return lol. Great lyrics and singing, really liking the bongo/conga like beat in this. Lots of fun, well done!
Ethansight - Nice rise into that ride cymbal, very nice effect. Bassline is super funky, really liking the intro. Lovely organ, this is also kind of jazzy. Just wish it wasn't so short, especially since the intro takes up 20 seconds alone in a 1 minute tune, and the intro is just a ride cymbal and a bassline. I mean what i'm hearing is lovely, but feels very much incomplete, almost like it needs more. Still liked what i'm hearing though, so i didn't loose anything, still a lot of fun, good job!
