@CotMM - To be fair, you've made some pretty distorted entries, that are on par with this lol.
@Wassup Thunder - I'm afraid it's not gabber this time, but rather industrial.
@Barley - All intentional. The whole purpose of this is to be loud, and unrelenting. It's also why it might not be everyone's cup of tea.
@CotMM - Haha, i'd say this is more like Ear Pain or something.
@Dex - Even when there's no drums, it's still pretty loud lol.
@Barley - The rave of never ending loud noise XD
@CotMM - Pretty accurate.
@Misael.K - Of course there's no gabber, it's way too distorted to be hardcore, it's way too distorted to be anything really lol. Even if it's a single pad sound, it's still maxed out in DB.
@CotMM - Gabbabbabbabbabbabbabbabbabbabbabbabbabba
@Misael.K - I did try to make sure it was balanced, although when the purpose is to be as distorted as possible, things can get ignored. I'm surprised you guys are into it, even though that's not my primary focus when making OHC tunes.
@CotMM - That's actually true. You can have the best mix, full of the most intense sounds. Dubstep is an example, since they go for really dirty leads and synths, but yet still remain very cleanly compressed.
@Wassup Thunder - Unintentional fake out more like. Just wanted it to release before the final fade out.
@Misael.K - You know what you're getting with a TVG longplay. No second is wasted throughout the whole thing haha.
@Suzumebachi - Not a second was wasted, in maximising all the DB's lol.
@Everyone - Thanks for the kind words!
Now then....
TheVideoGamer - Everyone is aware that this is not a soft and soothing entry, although i will get a laugh out of those who do use it to fall asleep to. It's a full on aural assault, comprising of just about every distorted sound you can imagine. Blistering beats, loud basslines, intense chord sequences on intense synths. Pad chords and a melody in the second section, bringing this from pure noise, to a somewhat melodic idea. It's not an easy listen sure, so a lot of comments will be based on whether you like it or understand it, however i did have fun making it, it's nice to break out into unusual territories when making music. All in all, i hope you like it!
Lyra_183 - Why does this remind me of a song? It's familiar, yet i don't know it. It's on the tip of my tongue lol. You sing very well, minus the background noise. Good job!
DarkShadow - Can't be a DarkShadow track without the time signature craziness lol. This one is a bit more chaotic from you, and while it sounds cool, it's not my favourite. Good job though!
Koekepan - Very spooky, lots of very cool metallic bells. It kind of fits the horror movie vibe, but with a bit more of a soothing edge. Really like the delay used as well, it's a very nice soothing atmosphere. It's more of a free flowing track, but when you listen for a continuous period of time, it really slowly comes to life, and i love that idea. This kind of music is perfect for 10 minutes. Awesome work!
cotmm68030 - Very distorted loops going on here, kind of glitchy and unstable, very cool ideas. Really liking how there is a glimpse of a melodic line coming through, before it gets obliterated by loud processed vocals. Honestly this is a really cool idea, the vocals are very uniquely processed and spooky, i love it. I also like how it's structured almost like a song, despite it's industrial elements. Lovely unique ideas, well done!
animatrix1490 - Nice chiptune melodies here, very simple, but effective. Like the different chords here. Not a fan of the sudden abrupt change into a high-pass filter. It's abrupt and kind of makes the track feel...unpolished is probably the word. It was a very cool idea though, really lovely listen. Good job!
DJohn - Wow that's a lovely preset you've got their! It's like a Rhodes with a tremolo on it. Your vocals are beautiful as always, you're such a awesome singer! Really loving the sounds here, especially in conjunction with the guitar! I love the unexpected chord changes here as well, great way to change....oh it ended. Very abrupt. Oh well, beautiful stuff, well done!
kboldskeep - Action packed chiptune like melodies, let's do this. Interesting bassline, it sounds like a robot speaking to us. Nice melodies in total, very interesting. The bassline is a bit intense for this kind of track personally, but the melodies were probably some of best you've made to date, which is good thing. All in all, good job!
DDRKirby(ISQ) - Crispy amped guitar. Or it could be a interesting processed synth, who knows. It has that classic DDR structure, with the fills into the nice sweet beat. The signature difference is that cool guitar sound. This kind of fits ThaSauce Radio lol, it's very relaxing and lo-fi, and just lovely. It's just the kind of beat, that i can put on, and let it slide away. Lovely work, awesome work!
A2Z - Woow these are sweet juicy synths! Lovely to my ears. The melodies personally don't seem focus here, i got lost by 30 seconds in, because i didn't know what was a melody or the harmony, especially since the whole thing is short. Also the piano is a bit too forward, i would move it to the back, to be better mixed, if that's the word. Really nicely done though, the synths were killer, good job!
Barley - Very intense chugging guitar, definately a rock vibe for sure. I can't tell what the drums are doing, the guitar really seems to go full force in this one, so much such, that the guitars are the only thing i can really hear. It needs a bit of polish in this one i'm afraid, but it was a super cool idea, i enjoyed listening to this one, good job!
Wassup Thunder - First time in a new signature eh? Really nice orchestral melodies going on here. Very cinematic and suited for the Battle vibe. No more playing around, let's gooo lol. The melodies were seriously strong here, super nice and hummable, especially in the context of the drums. Really goes into a full epic showdown feel, i love it. I do get tired towards the end however, because the drums are going full force throughout. If the drums were omitted for at least 20 seconds this could make it into something awesome (Which i'm a huge fan of the instrumentation and melodies), but as of now, good job!
Dex - Rocking guitar feels oooo. Of course Dex is a rocker, and this is no shortage of heavy chugging riffs. Really loving the inclusion of synthesizers in this. Kind of adds a futuristic flare to the whole thing, and really makes it sound very cool. If anything they add a lot more than if they didn't exist. It's probably my favourite bit about the whole track. In fact, the whole thing is awesome, so much so i ended giving you top spot. Amazing work!
Misael.K - Heroic melodies, cool syncopated rhythms. I can sense a beat coming. The chords are amazing in this. I can never predict what chord is coming next, and since it happens at lightning speed, it feels almost like jazz harmonisation. It's not often you get to hear Misael.K doing trance/techno, and honestly i love the work here! The chords are just...amazing as i've said, and why i'm drawn to you're track. Lovely sounds you've picked here, it's got a lovely arrangement too. If i had to really critique it, the only thing that i would say, is the transition into the beat was a bit too sudden, which looses a bit of the flow, and when the beat comes in, it can get a little bit too loud. However the chords and synths are awesome, so i'll give you this one, well done!
Suzumebachi - Trailer music for a movie maybe? It's soo short, it's hard to properly articulate thoughts lol. The intro is unneeded, and goes on for too long, which only shortens an already 30 second piece. Maybe expansion is what it needs, because i don't have enough meat in my track to constitute anything, other than it sounded really nice. Good job though!
JH Sounds - Very bluesy, always down for that approach. Always making fire lyrics, you sing very well! The blues style was very different for you, but a welcome change. Really nice stuff, well done!
Arcana - Late submission, let's goo. Nice orchestral sounds, works super well with your vocals, which seem to get better and better each track you make. The orchestral parts are actually pretty great, really makes it dramatic, one for the cinema. Also a fan of the DnB beats that come in, really turns it into a fast intense experience. Honestly i can't find anything to critique, this is really nicely mixed, a strong mix from you, and the orchestral parts worked perfectly. Well done!
Top 3 - Dex, DDRKirby(ISQ), Koekepan.
The top 3 could have gone in any order, it was one of them days, i couldn't decide on definitive top 3 ranking. Took me a while to decide which should go on which, so while these can change on different days, this was what i choose on this particular day, at the time of voting.
If more spaces could be filled i would add DJhon's entry up there too!
