Barley's early Sisters of Mercy sound did it for me, in terms of serving the concept. DarkShadow too was unusually spot-on.

Atmospherium had that almost elevator muzak treatment that worked well too.

Souperion: I think you really got a great theme here, your theme was so warm and cozy and invoked great emotional feelings.

atmospherium: Great playing. sounded great

MisaelK: loved the downtempo feel and the mood shifts overall, lots of contrast going on and it makes things interesting.

@Arcana - Nope no drums. Then again it's almost once in a blue moon, i decide to not add drums lol.

@Misael.K - Haha if only, but i'm afraid this is one of my more normal entries.

@Arcana - I hope you don't envision drums, this is meant to be a relaxing number lol.

@Coloradoweekss - Hmm i'm thinking more Secret of Mana.

@Atmospherium - I love it when i come up with sick chord progressions. Really makes the piece magical.

@Arcana - Tale as old as time? Wut?

@Souperion - Synthesizers for the win!

@Suzumebachi - Thanks! Really does add something to the piece.

@Atmospherium - Now, now, we don't want to get ahead of ourselves lol.

@Misael.K - It's kind of unstable this piece, since there is so many sections of different dynamic proportions.

@Amospherium - Appreciating the love. I consider one of my finest works.

@Misael.K - The piano does what it wants, when it wants lol.

@JH Sounds - Never heard of her...

@Souperion - Haha, that's kind of true.

@Misael.K - Why would i add drums 5 minutes in? XD

@NickC - Ok i'll admit, when i do listen to it back, i do kind of think "Why did i put that cymbal there?". The one hour struggle is real lol.

@Misael.K - Or that could have been the build-up to the beat ;)

@Coloradoweeks - An "unusual for the TVG" production more like.

@NickC - Gotta get that ambience going eh?

@Everyone - Thanks for the kind words!

Now then...

TheVideoGamer - This track started of as a piano piece, mostly soft, but then i felt that it wasn't strong enough to hold it's weight, so i added more dynamic changes, and instrumentation. Not so much orchestral instruments, but synth elements to add texture while still keeping the ambience. The whole structure works like a piano piece, with many lines weaving between synths, because i didn't just want to use only 3 synths doubling each other. I ended up making it almost like a varied melodic line between each instance of a synth. It also has a recognisable melodic line which is repeated, while fast parts provide contrast. I consider it one of my favourites, primarily for the lovely chords i managed to get out of it. Very pretty, i hope you liked it.

Lyra_183 - Wooah, this is definately not something i was expecting from you. I really enjoy this! Probably one of my favourites you've ever done, lovely drum and guitar work (Very huge sounding too, feels like it's a real song) Your voice fits well in this track. Well done!

DDRKirby(ISQ) - More commission work les goo. Can't vote for it unfortunately, but the melodies were on point as usual. Super catchy chiptune stuff, well done!

DarkShadow - Praise be! DarkShadow speaketh in thy description! No but seriously this is a dope banger from you. Not my favourite from you personally, but it was enjoyable. Good job!

Koekepan - The signature Koekepan mallet sound lol. Always love your chill side, very nice pad usages here. Didn't feel developed enough for me, but i attribute it to the 2 minute runtime. I feel stuff like this needs to be longer to sell, but it was enjoyable. Good job!

cotmm68030 - Ok seriously, this can't be the real CotMM. I know you've made some pretty warm tracks before, but this is full on uplifting. Like everything is going to be a good day. This is never something i've seen from you, and i've been on OHC for just shy of a year by now. Now personally if i were to give honest critique, the drums are quiet, and unnescary. Either make it full ambient or have thick drums (The drums were very unnoticeable). However the rest of melody ideas were sooo beautiful, it almost makes me forget about that problem. Like seriously, Chill Uplifting CotMM is something i need more from you. I would totally be down for some entries like this. Awesome work!

Souperion - A rarity for Souperion to go into the major key. Again i'm so used to signature styles, that anything out of the blue is very surprising to me. Now i think this is a MIDI piano, but the way it's processed sounds gorgeous, it's a lovely tone. The whole thing is very beautiful, especially the piano and string combo. The ending part of the track is extremely lovely, where the chords really go into some very sweet suspensions and 5ths. Almost a texture shift almost. Beautiful stuff!

Animatrix1490 - The waveform tells me everything i'm sorry. Like it's completely clipped out. Love the chords though. Good job!

Wassup Thunder - The best years of Wassup's life was spent making Eurobeat lol. Great melodies as always, really feeling the spirit of racing cars. Well done!

Barley - Psychedelic ooo. Very cool guitar effects going on here. Interesting to go for the electronica kit than the rock kit, but i like it none the less. Really digging your voice, it's soo unique and i love that you managed to use it in every track, it's probably the best part about your tracks. Honestly while not my favourite from you, i found it hard to critique, because it was just a very enjoyable experience. Well done!

Ashka - Man you need to extend your tracks! You were doing 3 minute pieces before, now it's only 1 minute D: Your awesomeness cannot only last 1 minute, whyyy! I don't need to tell you this is excellent stuff, your chord work is just...fantastic. Incredible work!

Coloradoweeks - TVG says hi!

kboldskeep - I was feeling the high-pass, but this was under the impression it was going to slowly fade into a full beat, however by 1:30 this ended up not being the case. The lack of low-end unfortunately does not do it for me. Good job though!

Atmospherium - OH COME ON, THIS CAN'T BE ATMOSPHERIUM SURELY. Am i even hearing the same dude!? Man this is not even a 180 from the style i'm used to, it's not even a 360, more like a 720 lol. Man this round has created some of the best entries to date, like HOW IS THIS SOO GODDAMN BEAUTIFUL!? Like the harmony and the melody.....OMG!!! I'm really tempted to say a rimshot and some tom fills could elevate the drums further into beyond excellent territories, but honestly, the chords do it enough for me...this is still incredible stuff. Excellent work!

Dex - The more i listen to this, the more beautiful it grows. At first i thought this was cool and unique, but now it's another awesome entry. Like the contrast of the beautiful and light-strings against the very straight-forward march like rhythm of the drums. Kind of gotta rock feel to the whole thing, even though it's not rock. The drums really make this one of a kind....and i love it soo much. Beautiful work!

Misael.K - That is a cool riff at the beginning. It's very different, and kind of provides a little dissonance while still being very chill. Not expecting the 808 beat route, especially for Misael.K, but it does have the signature sine wave melody i've come to expect from you. Very nice flow, this is another lovely piece of music, especially in the strings, and even more so in the very climatic ending. Awesome work!

NickC - The intro feels very much like a Video Game from the PC, mixed with SNES sounds. When the choir comes in, it really brings it to life, almost like a winter town. Now the intro does loop a little, which sort of feels intentional, however this piece is only 1 minute, so the looping ends up being underwhelming. I thought about this, and i was gonna give it to you, on the ending alone, however the looped elements of the first 30 seconds, don't give me much to talk about, nor does it feel...complete is probably the word. Sorry, but good job!

Arcana - Master Arcana and his EDM shines our ears once again. Loving the resonant synths in this one, intro is nice and moody. When the drums come in, it really drops into a rave party. Your voice keeps on getting better and better, i really dig you singing. It does get a little loud at parts, i think this one needs a lot of polish to perfect it, however i can't say i didn't enjoy it, was a ton of fun. Good job!

JH Sounds - How's that chord progression hunt coming along? I can tell, it's coming super nicely, these are some pretty cool changes, that i don't usually see in songs, especially that F Diminished. That was super unexpected for me, and a worth while chord change. You might have ripped it from another song, i don't know, i just go by what i'm hearing. All in all, ton of fun, great lyrics. Well done!

Suzumebachi - Ooh this is very beautiful, just like the others are. But this is almost a different kind, since it starts of uplifting like it belongs to a NES platformer, then it goes full hard-rock like it belongs to power glam rock thing from the 80's. I don't know a band to compare it to, but the whole thing was just awesome....and also way too short. Ends way too quickly, but awesome work!

Top 3 - Ashka, Atmospherium, Souperion.

Ok because it was super hard, i ended up awarding Ashka and Atmospherium Joint 1st place. This makes Souperion 2nd place, and Dex essentially the real 3rd place.

This one was the hardest decision i've ever made in OHC. I've never agonised this much over a list of entries before, it's insane. I was here for a good 30 minutes to an hour trying to decide who to put up. Even now i don't know if my choices are my final ones.

Seriously this round has given me such incredible music, it might be my favourite to date. These entries were deprived of a top spot, and it hurts soo badly!

I'm going to list these in order of preference (Aka if this was a top 10 ranking). This does not make your entry lesser or not equally, it just helps me understand my choices, so i don't fall back on my word! Seriously this was soo difficult!
