ethansight: Overall love the 90s synth vibe this has. It's very good work.

Xanthos: I really like the sound design, especially the swirls in the background and the glitch drums.

GreyHooves: The harmony and the franticness of the composition in this piece is great, I think the composition is very sophisticated. Lots of dynamics. I would have liked this to be a little louder and to have a bit more expressiveness. Very good work though.

ethansight: The production really made this, I love the sounds you made for this

Misael.K: Those dark vibes are really nice, and that distorted scream sound fits so well with the mood, I love it

RSK: And there's RSK with the Chiptune. I love this one, I really love those arps that give it the asian sound.

Special shout outs to Koekepan, Xanthos, Coral and Daisu64 for some really solid submissions as well

I don't know whether or not it's a crime to vote for Jarski as #1, but I vibed with this song so much that if it is a crime, I'm guilty as charged. If there's such a thing as "funky hope", this is it. It had a very positive sound to it, and it all felt very well-orchestrated. Everything harmonized together. This is like modern, slightly jazz-bluesy, Bob-Marley-branded hope right here. Amazing job!

Testuser gets my 2nd vote. Definitely fit the theme quite well. The initial piano section had a bit of a dissonant dark sound to it, and when those deep synths pop in... BAM! Hope. Well done!

My 3rd vote goes to Arcana. This song is like the early game console definition of hope! I enjoyed the wealth of different sounds, as well as the melody of that lead instrument. I was reminded of a sunny coastal day, and it filled me with hopeful positivity. The fast pacing also complemented it quite well. Nice one, Arcana!

Runners up:

Ethansight - I reiterate that this should definitely be the backing track to a Phil Collins song. Good, smooth sound.

MisaelK - This was a pretty solid track which had a lot going for it, but unfortunately I just couldn't get over the screechiness of that lead instrument partway into the song. Just a personal pref perhaps, but if that were dialed down a bit, this would've easily been a main contender.

Coral - Of all the songs, this one had the most train-tunnel atmosphere of them. Great work creating the suspenseful sounds and good use of that steel drum, but I think perhaps what it was lacking was a bit more variation. Once again, just a personal pref though.

Daisu - Nice job with the positivity on this one. It was a very lighthearted song that made me think of a slice-of-life anime. Great variation of sounds here!
