One Hour Compo - Round 502 (OHC502)
May 24, 2018 Koekepan
This was terribly difficult to judge.
Random-Storykeeper's concept was just the best in my view, and her execution excellent as usual.
Johnfn's sonic approach was the strongest, conceptually, so a lot of points there.
The channel compared Ophanin's entry to Debussy, but I was also reminded of Alkan's Madwoman. It was clean, it was different, but it was compelling.
Great work all around.

NickC: I really liked the sounds you used for this one, it gives it a very unique feel.
Sci: Not exactly easy listening music, but it definitely feels fitting for the theme.

Atmospherium: great sound design! Good vocals too, nicely integrated to the theme.
sci: cool sound design. The neural network thingy sounds very promising, as it's already producing some very interesting results. keep it up!
awesum: Atmospherium, johnfn, Koekepan, NickC, sci.
good: Arcana, DarkShadow, GreyHooves, ophanin, Random-storykeeper, TestUser472.

2) "neural net infection" - I like the atmosphere in , and all the noisy instruments work well together for me.
3) "quantity" - If there was ever a time for DarkShadow's dissonant, atonal chiptune to work, it would be for a theme about a virus.
Honourable mentions: johnfn (I want beans), GreyHooves (it's like a pirate ship being infected), Koekepan (pew pew), Atmospherium (so dark and gritty, mm!)
