1st one: I like the mix and the use of vocoders. My favorite part about this track is the offbeats and the pads(yes i like pads). This entry is catchy, and I like the synths. I also love the bells. This one pretty much won this round.
2nd one: Okay this one was a ride. I especially enjoyed 01:52. Despite the desc it's not garbage(except the fade out ending >:(((). Again, nice bells(why do i love bells so much omfg). This does not evoke images of the last dog on earth, even with the vocals though. I didn't like the ending as well(probably due to the fact that it's a fade out >:(((). This piece, however, warrants a second place in my list, as I enjoyed it(except the fade out >:((().
3rd one: The intro is nice(yay I finally found someone who makes their own risers, or uses risers!). The synths here are nice, and I swear to god you know me, and you know that i like those pumping noise sweeps. Those are some real nice synths you got there. However, there are two things I have a problem with though. First one is the gated saw synth is panned all the way left. Pan it not all the way left, just 25-75% left and adjust the stereo width. Two: Some of the synths have too much high end(or maybe it's these faulty headphones). However, this is a very nice track that should be placed 3rd place in my list.

So here's my reasoning for including these tracks in my top 3! I'm new to OHC so tell me if I did anything wrong.

coolgreenapple: I think this one definitely fit the theme the best, and is just a really nice piece in general.

RSK: I'm imagining a home movie being made of someone with their new puppy, and this music is playing in the background

garlagan: There was no way I couldn't vote for this one. barksongs are amazing

Special shoutout to JH Sounds for their 10th year remix. I do think this was the best entry, but since it was a remix of their piece from ten years ago and not based on the theme, I considered it as a bonus track

skandix: I'm impressed! I'm not too sure it fits the theme, but it's such a good entry!

coolgreenapple: sweet guitaring. This sounds playful and fun.

Bork

1) "klaus Wändérlich - a Fourier transform" - This is so chill and jazzy it warms my heart. I wasn't really sold on the organs being a part of the sound design, but after a few listens, I got used to it.

2) "fluffypuppy" - Jamming is good. This is good. This is like johnfn if he had a guitar. Haha I'm joking...kind of.

3) "Rustling Jam (Tenth Anniversary Edition)" - Well...if I had to go with the theme, probably not the most relevant. But this is the catchiest song I've heard in this compo, so I feel that's worth a vote.
