There was a LOT of good music this week. Wow there was a lot of stuff. Man really.

I thought this was going to be easy pickings, but upon listening to all the entries again, the decision is a lot harder than I perceived.

1) "Shimmering Ricochet" - I love the sounds throughout, but I also really love the composition as well. The dreamlike flowiness, the chord changes, all really added to the wonder of this soundscape. And overall, the structure really starts to open up towards the end, which was awesome.

2) "particles" - It's a weird second pick I know, but I actually think the atonality works really well for this "theme", since nothing is particularly discernible in the images.

3) "Crystalline Leaves" - I'm impressed with how much of a direction this piece seems to have over some of your others. Not to say that they were bad, but when there were frustrations with some previous compos, it was like that also showed up in the entries for those compos, too. Even though you pretty much loop one idea over and over, it does seem to develop and doesn't wear out its stay. The only reason this isn't higher is because I'm not too crazy about the sound design.

Honourable mentions:

- johnfn's "dreamland", which I'll admit, gave me goosebumps at times. And I can't deny how much I love swelling pads like the ones you have in here.
- Miyolophone's "glitter and spin" - This probably had my favourite sound design out of all the entries. It's so happy - the vibrato chiptunes are the best!
- coolgreenapple's "wall of sound" - The pacing and guitars, mmm.
- Koekepan's "Playing in the Dust of Civilisation" - Throat singing sounds ooh
- ethansight's "Shiiny" - 0:50 onwards is so catchy!

Hard to determine what I was expecting from this theme, so I just voted based on what I liked best.

Ethansight really nailed it with this one, easily my favorite one.

Arcana's was something I'd totally expext to hear in a game like Rogue Legacy, very nice

Daisu64 very nice for your first OHC, loved the Sound design

ccolgreenapple: this track rocks! Loved the rhythm, the guitars, the drums.

johnfn: this was lovely. The swelling pads and the lack of drums make this a great entry.

daisu64: the chiptune harmonic melody from the second half absolutely makes this entry. Super good!

I also really liked the entries from ethansight and Miyolophone.
