1) "Family ties" - This is fantastic. I love the instrumentation and the simplistic happiness. To me, it just kind of fit the idea of a family gathering while still having super pretty summer undertones throughout. Definitely, you ought to consider making more stuff like this, because it's great.

2) "Last Visit to the Lake" - I love your take on the theme. The sound effects work well with the music. This seems to be one of the more melodic Koekepan entries, and I did truly enjoy taking in the peacefulness yet melancholiness of the scene.

3) "Innocence" - I gotta love poignant piano pieces like this. No question. Even though I'm not really fond of the way the piano sounds in this, the composition itself is excellent, and I really like the little cricket sound that pops up every now and then. It just...really secures that nighttime feeling throughout.

I really wanted to vote for one of the entries titled "S/summer days". Both were excellent, but come on; why do I only get three vote slots? Unfortunately, I just had to put my heart into it. christopian: super pretty entry. Great piano work.

johnfn: the loudest kick ever in a great track.

Koekepan: a short, peaceful tune that I liked. I like the feeling of quiet and stillness that it evokes.
