Good lord, what a tough one to judge! So much excellent, and I had to consider everything.

Johnfn just blew it out of the water. Incredible production.
Atmospherium produced heavy metal in an hour, complete with vocals and soloing. Dude. Metal.

And Patashu brought such a whimsical take on the theme that, in combination with the awesome chiptune goodness, I couldn't help but bring him in third.

1) "Stare into the Light and Move your Flesh Body" - I hear robots and I feel the light. This piece is hypnotic but also captivating. I especially love the drums in this.

2) "transient existence" - I really enjoy the music box sounds playing in unison with a more distorted(?) instrument. The contrast stands out in a good way.

3) "sticks" - What can I say? I have an affinity for chiptune like this, even though the melody is all over the place. Call me weird, but I actually like how it starts to get muddier sounding towards the end. It was more of a gradual change, I think.

johnfn: lovely, great melodies and progression. You're making progress in the Trancient ways.

NickC: a somewhat weird entry, with pretty tunes and swells. Super chill. Good job!

Atmospherium: excellent guitaring and drumming. The low gutural vocals were very good too.
