Misael K outdid himself with the arrangement and tracking of Burning Sensation - the atmosphere was truly fire, and the guitar-like sound fucking whoomped us all in the IRC room.
I personally would pick coolgreenapple's flow for third due to how creative and original it sounds - it is a very discordy, but working altogether piece made in Sunvox.

Fundamentalphantom's sense of ambience is great. Clear winner.
Shitbird brought the rock sounds, but the ending was a little weak.
Random-Storykeeper had a different rhythm (sounds like 6/8) and a western vibe. Interesting. Well done, just less musically compelling in terms of relevance. Still, very good.

Koekepan: while a bit long, this was a great entry. It shows the change from coldness to a more spring-like environment.
coolgreenapple: very cool entry! I like how cold everything here sounds, while gritty at the same time.
awesum: coolgreenapple, fundamentalphantom, Koekepan, Random-storykeeper, Shitbird.
good: Dave Schlong, Grinphox, jarski, MandraSigma, Patashu.

2) "flow" - The sounds in this are weird, yet manage to give off an eeriness that I like. I think this overall conveys how two opposites (cold and lava) contrast with each other quite well.
3) "Ice Yields to Heat." - I feel the cold in this, and how the piece flips itself around, developing into something very pretty in the last minute. An interesting interpretation, to say the least.

- "Burning Sensation" - I really only enjoyed the last 50 seconds of this; the long chords, the piano improv is good.
