Starla brought tuneful, elegant singing, decent lyrics and relevance to a solid tune. Win.

Misael.K's simple things are also elegant and relevant, if less impressive than Starla's performance.

Fossilize is good as well, although it could have had a somewhat more well balanced ending.

1) "Simple Things" manages to keep maintain its "outworldly" feel with its instrumentation and continuum. While it certainly feels like the opening chords repeat a lot more than they need to, the last minute is solid and worth the wait.

2) "rather" - The harmonies in this are absolutely beautiful, albeit they get a bit overpowered by the accompaniment - which is lovely though not the centre focus. The ending is also rather abrupt, but those issues aside, I really love this.

3) "Rock the Galaxy" definitely wins the most "unexpected" entry when compared against Koekepan's previous entries. The premise is creative, and I like this boldness. And I think there's something about the lyrics and the altered voice that pair well together. It's just...the vocals of course, are too soft against the accompaniment. Which is a shame, because the use of vocabulary and allusions in this is pretty well done.

An honourable mention goes to "stone garden daydreams". Everything about this, from the instrumentation, to the notes, just seems wrong, but at the same time, completely right. It really gives that sense of wandering between reality and a dream.

Honestly this is a hard theme to interpret. I mean, rock? ROCK.

Arcana: I really liked your entry tonight. While it sounds like a typical Arcana entry, I think it fits quite well with the theme.

Patashu: superb work, the VRC7 shines here.

starla: super pretty song! Great singing and cool instrumentation. The mix could be better, at times the vocals sound too soft in comparison.
