There was a lot of goodness in this compo. It was really really hard to pick three only.

Let's hope there's not a character limit...

Meh, I haven't really listened to the previous works of most of these competitors so this is pretty much based on these audio pieces alone.

"Jarski Real" - Short, but groovy. I love the buzz in the bass, which really gives the piece an awesome drive. I also like the emphasized beats in this.

"Arcus" - Airy. The beat is nice. It definitely has potential to be developed further with that starting theme.

"Rolling Through Macalania Woods" - Kinda has a nature, islandy feel which is awesome! Ahhh I love it when those major sevenths kick in.

"My Devices" - I like the dance feel I get out of this. The voice comes in at just the right time, feels nonsensical but exactly what dance-esque music calls for.

"Infinite cadmium roll" - The "drift" feeling in this is phenomenal. Ohh and those reversed drums...kinda feels like a spiralling jazz piece imo.

"beat test" is funky, though I didn't really feel like it fit the theme; it felt really "city" to me. It might have to do with how "chill" it feels. Still a nice piece though.

"1.6" gives me space vibes. I love the repeating instrument in this. Good instrument choice! And it's too bad your work was lost, but from what little time you had left, this is a phenomenal effort.

"Snrettap euqserutcip" - It's so cheerful... I like the addition of the final introduced track, which really gave it a sort of warm underlying feeling. A quirky idea to add a cat effect at the end, though perhaps not the most suitable.

"sucesion de Fibonacci" - I couldn't really get into this until the middle part, where it got really nice and I started to hear those fine bass tones. The guitar also didn't really work for me, but it would probably do better as a solo bit. All in all the middle was the best part.

"Twist Bounce" - The introduction instrument (sounds like a piano?), it's very lovely. I'm not feeling the "twist" element in this as the title suggests, but still a good listen. It's simple and has a nice transition to the quicker parts.

"The Mysteries of Life" - Yes yes soft ascending notes as a continuum - LOVE it. Just the right enough noise to make a great impression, then it gets quieter, which is really pretty. Nice job keeping up the "patterns" element.

"OHC341 Platonic Ideal" - I feel like this is in some sort of 5/4 metre, and that wasn't just from reading the description. It's got a good pace and I like the instrument choice. It might be just me, but it started getting a tad too repetitive near the end. I do like the quick yet gradual slowdown to the final notes.

"unnatural" - Well said. I have trouble believing this is put together in an hour; it's just so well composed. The way it builds up is just brilliant and worth the listen.

"dusthill64cockin" - The bass kind of reminds me of HarshQuad's in-game, heh. The balancing and effects are the highlights of this piece for me. And the way it picks up pace is awesome and what keeps the music interesting.

"Mysterious Space Mining WIP" - Dang, gotta love that percussion. This piece transitions through ideas really, really well. Also the effects with the notes are cool. It captures the "outer space" atmosphere pretty good.

"L-N-A Dez-WAC" - Sounds pretty crazy, in a neat way. I never knew what to expect as it progressed, something I don't really expect to occur when listening to music. I like the melody that starts to kick in near the end.

Excellent entries this week! Congrats to all!

sci: the reversed-song-thing makes this.

Patashu: while it's a bit repetitive, the drum-noise work on this is spectacular.

johnfn: solid entry, lots of goodness here and there. Great mixing. My only problem is the sudden end. Also the le
