Man, it's been a long while since I've voted...

johnfn - The melodies were beautiful!

DDRKirby(ISQ) - Lots of interesting things in this, and it fit the theme pretty well.

DarkShadow - I liked the slower beat with the non-standard time signature, not sure what it was though!

acuity - funny thing about this song is that the first half of your chord prog sounds like "we won!" and the second half sounds more battle-y. really nice, but i feel like it may have been a little too long?

misael.k - totally not your style, i like the experimentalism, keep it up!

sci - that was really good and groovy :D the secret to making songs johnfn will like is apparently: give them a giant rhythm section. keep it up.

jarski - oh my goddd dat groovy base! dem pads! dem moving beats! love it

jh sounds - dat groove!

blastron - i really like it. minor thoughts - the percussion sounds very rock for an orchestral song, and it kinda hides in the background (i dunno what i'm doing complaining about mixing though cuz my mixing is trash).

arcana - very nice, one of the best things i've heard from you! keep it up bro.

ddr - gotta vote #1. this theme was pretty much made for him. we all know how much ddr likes space, if you take a random song from a non-space themed compo he probably involved space in some way lol. and the same thing with epic battles. i had the biggest grin on my face during the battle section. makes me wish battle themes were chipstep.

EVERY ONE DID REALLY WELL THIS WEEK HOLY CRAP. GOOD JOB YOU GUYS.

1st -- Azura
Drum work, chord stuctures, progression.. all amazing. This took me back to my MM Battle Network days.
You held the notes in the right places, and the arp combined with strings sounded really cool. Supah claps!

2nd -- Blastron
Fit the theme like a glove and sounded great as well. The orchestral sound is done really well here. The brass and the choir together sound awesome. That flute in the background is also a great touch. Nice work.

3rd -- Sci
As usual, this song is just oozing with groove. Absolutely loved that piano progression over top of everything. The filters and effects keep the song from being repetitive. The description of this one pulls it all together and helps it fit the theme. Genius.

A-zu-ra - sounds like great video game background music for a battle event! also has some really great percussion sound(s) that holds the track together. really enjoyable.
Acuity - the chord progression is interesting. very nice.
Trancient - awesome piano work mixed into a great track!
johnfn - nice piano work. the melody is pretty catchy, kinda gets in your head too.
DDRKirby(ISQ) - this is one of those bosses that has several parts to defeat. really great sound effects using glitching and samples.
jarski - this would be really great background music for an enemy battle. awesome track, has some great percussion. the stereo wideness is interesting, but it also can be a bit distracting sometimes.
Bren - nice guitar work, gives a good sense of heat/action for fighting music. has some catchy melodies too.
Snacker - this is good work, matches the boss battle idea. enjoyable tune.
