One Hour Compo - Round 222 (OHC222)

so instead of voting for the conventionally 'best' pieces i decided to vote for the most interestingly weird pieces.
bLiNd's handling of dubstep was really well done i thought, especially for OHC. don't think i've ever voted for dubstep before so there you go.
wolfofsadness, i admit your piece dragged a little (you could have shortened it or added a break in the middle probably), but towards the end you really came up with this bizarre synth/reversed vocals combination that i've never heard anything even CLOSE to similar before. i really like it & feel like it could be expanded.
.. and just to annoy ddr (because he would have had 3rd) i broke my own rule and voted for theoryofnonexistence instead. i can't believe i even voted for a 20 minute piece, let alone over ddr's piece, but that melody is just too darn cheerful. :D:D:D:D

Acuity: a somewhat classical Acuity song, if I may say. Nice piano work.
A-zu-ra: a fast song! Excellent chords, as usual.
blastron: a close fourth place. Action and adventure rule.
Liked very much:
A-zu-ra; Acuity; blastron; Forty-Two; johnfn.
bLiNd; CJthemusicdude; DarkShadow; DucksUnlimited; General Mumble; Somasis; TheoryOfNonexistence; Wolfofsadness.

DDRKirby(ISQ) - so random- and sounds amazing! interesting glitching and effects. also, experimental.
A-zu-ra - this has some really interesting rhythms. the arping fits well, having a random/luck -like feel. very enjoyable.
bLiNd - nice trance. the dubstep is pretty well done in here, good variety of dubs.
General Mumble - these bass sounds are pretty cool.
Wolfofsadness - these dubs are amazing, and are balanced pretty well with the rest of the song.
