DDRKirbys really reminded me of Halc and I love some of Halcs stuff. Its like he gave chiptune a real modern sound was great.

I really loved the synth Bren used and overall was really good.

And you can't beat A-zu-ras drum and bass esq Drum n bass.

The Will to Persist~ A-zu-ra:
Very creative, though i don't necessarily like the begining, and the part at 1:47 was not easy on the ears, the main theme sent chills down my spine! I instantly fell in love with it while falling into a world where parkor and martial arts save your life! plus that fake ending is cool ^_^
....i got the chills even on my third listen :D

Bring it~ Trancient:
instantly transports me to a world of dark remorse. the enemy stantds infront of me. eyes locked in expected combat...then, oddly, he smiles at me. not sinister, but of bright anticipation. "ready?" he askes. i can feel my face splitting from ear to ear "you bet!.....suddenly he turns dark...his eyes grow red. "chaossssssss" he hisses in a voice not his own...tears roll down his cheeks even with that annoying sinister grin on his face. suddenly, in a flash, im pinned down underneath him. a strange stench reeks from his flesh...the dissease...finnaly got him. {i know he still loves me, which is why he wont kill...}....suddenly blades come out of his hands and swiftly drives them into my stomach. spitting out blood i wisper, "bro...ther" was my last word i ever spoke...The beast suddenly screams in agony...the tears rolling down his rotting face leave traces of pure white skin. The beasts cries become definite "HELP ME GOD!"...

the reason "i like Bring it" is because of its spectrum of emotion! and it brought a story to my head!

Last Stand~Bren:
epic theme from its begining! no wait through ugly intros! cuts to the chase! also the chords are nice, not as much emotion but i love the main theme!

everyone did a good job (except for those who dont try)
i cant wait for next weeks! AND i cant wait to see how i did ^_^ my "BEST SHOT" was seriously my first best shot at this compo...im proud of it too@ i cant stop listening to it! I CANT BELIVE I MADE IT! :D

While "Chillin'" reminds me a bit of "Viva La Vida" (by Coldplay), I think it has a lovely tune which kept me entertained til the end of the (long) track. Also, "chilling" can be a way to "stand your ground".

Hapi-San's "At a Standstill" is incredibly fun, and kinda reminiscent of an eroge song. I can totally imagine the situation in the description (waiting for someone while being "at a standstill").

Finally, Trancient has a two-part somewhat-complex song that sounds really good.
