Bren's was very groovy, my favorite melody and combination of the night.
Flik's really felt like I was being watched.
Cyril's made me feel stalked and might have induced pee.

Good job Shael and just64 for bringing up 2nd and 3rd. I might have voted for Bren's song but I didn't really feel the "stare" in his piece as much as I did in the three I listed. Good work though.

Suzume's track is freakin' GOOD. I genuinely had no idea he could do stuff like this, but it's jazzy and mysterious and it totally fits the theme.

Flik's reminds me of something from a Japanese psychological thriller, like Gozu or something. As such, it fits the theme fantastically, and even though it has some piercing bell stuff going on later, the ambient factor makes it work.

Shael's is, as always, impressive considering the time limit. And while it's vocal, it's not so over the top as to really take the staring theme so far that it's not even there anymore.
