Invisible Oberserver presented the theme in a new, but identifiable way, and I'm a sucker for industrial drums, especially in an otherwise non-industrial composition.

Level 99 presented a more traditionally Autumnal that really set the bar high for other like pieces.

1st: Oh my god, i'm in love.
2nd: It was a toss up between Level99 and InvisibleObserver but I think Level99 won that because he expressed the theme greater in his piece.
3rd: Once again because no one else will. <.<

Dhsu gets first place, although really this was a toss up between TheMisterCat. I gave it to Dhsu because it captured what fall means to me a little better, and that is calm, quiet, silent transtition. Excellent Track.

TMC, wondeful track. Not much more to say, it was fitting to the theme and was composed wonderfully.

Level 99 wins over Oinkness, though it was very close. Oinkness felt a bit more mexican / desert than Autumn. L99 didn't sound THAT autumn to me, but it was a light feel and it sounded some autumn. So 3rd goes to 99, but Great songs by both.

Great work everybody, I can't wait for next week!

Yay another awesome compo with lots of great entries and a tough voting choice.

Shael - Loved this entry from the get-go, and it just got awesomer as it went on. I like want to hear this song on the radio.
liquidwind - Awesome use of percussion, it reminds me of Halloween, one of my favorite parts of autumn
L99 - Very polished, kind of nostalgic and def reminiscent of autumn.

Honorable Mention: Arcana - sorry I didn't have enough votes. I decided not to vote for this one because I didn't think it fit the theme as well as the others, but I like this piece, it puts a smile on my face ^_^

djsmallpox: That's one piano-oriented family for a fall-theme. Needs a bit more reverb. Let's BBQ.

TheMisterCat: I am in awe. You have won the game, sir. Well fought, and I don't know how you did it, but this could easily be turned into something even grander than it already is! GRAET JERB!

superjoe: This kicked ass as-is, but I'm one of those pretentious jerks with no soul and a lot of evil who does grade a little based on the theme. Please see me after class, and turn this fully-fledged.

TheShaggFreak: Let's start a ska band. Well, anyway, this was very unique. It's like if elton john wrote the song "Funeral for a friend (in Autumn-times)" and then put it in a castlevania game staring jack black in his emo-high-school days. Wow, did I actually just write that out? BELL! BELL! BELL! The atmosphere was awesome.

bjkmenu: with your work, I sort-of know what to expect, but then again, i'm always thrown back with how surprised I end up being. You have some crazy production stuff going on at random times. Kinky.

diotrans: maybe it's just my headphones, but the bass didn't come through like I think you inteded. Very cool vocal effects and whatnot, vocals are always charming. DUDE, HALLOWEEN IS FRICKIN' SOON!

Snooper: the leaves are depressing with the plucks-n-organ, even with the major at the end. thematic, but I would have enjoyed a pattern-change with the plucks. solid entry, keep it up!

dhsu: I'm stealing you someday for a project I haven't quite planned yet. The volume is low, but this immediately gives me a mental montage of driving in the autumn leaves as the world transitions from green to organe, red, brown, then the cold dark of winter. This was fantastic, and you were a pleasantly-unexpected participant. <3

Me: Umm..yeah. I passed out while listening to this last night, cause I wanted to plan out some revisions. I fell asleep on the iPod, and there was a big imprint on my face.

Shael: Back to school means no more games, and you gotta spend all that money on supplies. This was a frickin' hillarious entry. You will be drinking me under the table soon enough, sir.

liquidwind: I'm filled with joy and envy at this entry, and I have no idea how you did it in an hour. This was an intense amount of atmosphere, and for some reason, it does feel like something that would be played in fall, just before winter. Keep an eye on your PMs, I have something for you (it is not sex-related).

OCRE: gotta pick them eggplants before the varmints get 'em! cool beans, dude.

Biznut: interesting for sure, I liked the idea of the fire, and the synth you used was alright, cept it got a little stale from all that panning. Enjoyable, and somewhat happy sounding!

InvisibleObserver: great drum work, awesome cuts and filters. Color me impressed!

Arcana: BIRDIES BIRDIES BIRD BIRD BIRD TWEET TWEET! BIRDS WITH SQUEAKY SHOES! It does sound very Katamari-esque. I APPROVE.

Oinkness: This was...awesome. The only thing that kills it for me is the voice, the playing and writing were great though. Spanish Fall. Also, the rhythm was a little distracting. You're going in a good direction, though.

My predictions this week: TheMisterCat's getting first, Diotrans will get second, and Shael's getting Third. I'm just saying this for shit's and giggles.

diotrans for creativeness. The use of the effects (and the 70s aura) was great. I think with a bit more development this is something that could turn out to be really good. I think you should continue working on this. It's excellent work for one hour

Nice song liquidwind, the transitions and the overall spookiness made this track very interesting.

Oinkness - despite the flaws, I could tell what direction he was raking me. Proprtly set up; the downfallL vocals, irrelevant mistakes (techical diffivulties, may I stress, are irrelevant).

Dhsu - well executed, no real flaws. The only thing that placed Oinkness on top was emotion.

Level 99 - good composure, however, I get the feeling of not enough emotion, or perhaps a need for more subtle changes and less direct sounds. I hope I am not being too opinionated.
