1) luke7183 - nothing wrong with a genre swap if it's done well and for the most part it IS done well. My only gripe is the ommission of the E-guitar pitch-bend thingy. But that'd make me an asshole if that cost you the 1st vote based on that demerit alone. Well produced and makes you want to dance in your chair - sign me up baby!!

2) Silverpool - Very sick MIDI rip. Especially love the guitar sample. Wish that there was more reverb/delay on the synth notes as they were VERY dry lol. And maybe a bit of original interpretation. Nevertheless, there is indeed improvement here.

3) classic_gamer_76 - the master volume is very quiet on the track. For something that took you 2 years to make, this is kinda unpolished - there could be a lot more done with the E/Q Master as well. RIGHT, with that aside - the positive things...there is a TON of re-interpretation which is cool, it all connects very well. The use of piano for the chords is a cool idea. The E-Guitar is alright, roughly around my own sample quality, which means it's pretty ass in general hahaha. The strings jive well. So yeah...I WOULD have made you second place, if this wasn't a 2 year old WIP. Sorry man, I have to be fair to the other people here who made created fresh entries within the actual competition duration. Still, this isn't a bad remix by any means.

First place was a no-brainer -- it has the best sounds and the most interesting arrangement (in my opinion) with awesome new additions to the source.

It was harder to decide who I think earns the second place -- one tried to bring something new to the source while the other focused on picking up more interesting sounds.
I chose the first one but they both deserve to be at this spot.

Luke, cause that was awesome!

Hoboka, nice take, but a bit inconsistent in overall vision I felt.

Classic, Again fun take, but it needed some help with the mix I felt.

luke - Nice take. The most professional sounding of all of the mixes (although honestly they all sounded pretty good to my ears, for the most part). Would you mind sharing what instruments, plugins, etc you're using? I especially liked the original sections around 1:05-1:45 and 3:15-3:30 and would have liked to hear them again. Got a little bored around 4:45. Didn't feel like the final 30 seconds of the song added much, although the ending was good.

classic gamer - really good, nice use of panning and use of synth for the rhythm part. Hard to believe you've managed to work something you've been working on for two years into this remix and make it sound so authentic. Would like a little more snap on the snare. In fact, turn all the drums up a little bit! Guitar around 2:00 is a little harsh. Nice variety of song sections while still staying MNP. This is a long submission but I didn't get bored listening to it.

hoboka - lol, you really have a taste for absurd voices, don't you? That lead is ok as a gimmick used maybe once or twice in the song but don't overdo it by making it a constant throughout the song like you did. Really good use of the tambourines. I think I sense some distortion on your snare hits, so please be careful with that. Nonexistent ending :(

Silverpool - Nice collection of sounds that are mixed well here, but *ugh* that dissonance on the guitar bend hurts my ears and pushes this entry into last place for me. Cute ending.

I enjoyed luke7183's and classic_gamer_76's entries so much that I had trouble evaluating them, but in the end, I felt like hoboka had the best MnP submission.
