1 - hoboka - You pulled off the atmospheric vibe well. Well mixed and good arrangement.

2 - Kat - Best part of this was the guitar. I felt like the drums/low end were lacking presence and that took away from the overall effect. However, the guitar sound is good. If you can get everything else to speak as well as that, this track has good potential.

3 - gercr - I like the vibe here. One thing that's way too low in the mix is what I consider to be a very important element of the track. Around the :23 second mark in your remix is the part that sounds like an "instrumental conversation" in the original source. It sounds like you've got it being played, but very softly and by a patch without any bite. For anyone familiar with the track, they're going to hear this and feel like something's off. In this specific track, I would put a lot of value in that short line because it's one of the few times a mid voice is playing something that could be construed as a melodic line as opposed to pad chords.

Kat - Shutter is pretty darn good for something that's last minute! Very swag remix, esp. love the rhythm guitar and lead cello. Great samples too. Also like the level of reinterpretation that adds to the Green Brinstar's original vibe and mood perfectly.

hipnotyk - Very MnP, very good - it was a close pick betwixt you and Kat. My favorite parts were the rhythmic arp thingies and the percussive touches. Bass is sexy too.

gercr - Not too shabby, nice MnP remix there gercr. The string hits felt odd, I'm thinking if you put in a longer attack, or used a different sample woulda helped out a lot. Other then that, it's a pretty decent midi cover :D

NPC-23 - this would've worked better for PRC, as 'Below' stands, it is VERY re-interpretive, which isn't what MnP is about sadly - Regardless, 'Below' reminds me of Castlevania and Secret of Mana, oddly enough. Also, I really like the reverby soundscape ideas you've got going on here.

hypnotik / Greenstar:
I loved the marimba use here, it gave it a really nice feeling and worked well with the heavier bass elements. I have to give this one my first place vote.

NPC-23 / Below
I absolutely loved the intro, and overall it had a really nice vibe. It's like what you'd hear in a darker and edgier version of Brinstar. This one gets my second place vote because I felt it changed the mood up just a bit too much.

hoboka / Hobo Brinstar Remix:
Whao, nice soundscape there. Especially loved the strings and percussion.

gercr / Moonstar:
Nice arrangement overall and kept the original song's feeling pretty well.

Solid fan of the percussion and mallet instruments in hipotyk's remix, it gives space for the rest of the melodies while still giving the song a solid punch. As for Kat, well I'm a sucker for hard rock covers. And the mix of orchestral and chorus with trance makes for a great mashup of a song from hoboka.
