Another great week as usual! Very short party today!

TheVideoGamer - I started with a chord/melodic sequence spanning 8-16 bars which loops ad infinity, played on 3 different synths, each drenched in a very distant reverb, to signify the spacious image, which you can obviously tell is incredible, i love these kinds of images. The sequences were designed with hints of complexity, creating something quite soothing. The last chord goes into a sort of augmented variation, thus making it unresolved, which is a good thing, since it's going to be looped. There is a lead synth melody in there for good measure too. The drums are mostly drum machine type beats, kind of what you would get in a 808/606, thus making it more like an electro beat than a techno one, although really they're just there as drums. The bassline is following the chords, albeit in it's own rhythm, and there is an acid synth to add electronic elements to the pad chords, and keep the momentum going. All in all, super happy with this one, it's very nicely done.

Vaiaphraim - I am really into your style, it's a perfect blend of retro chiptune, with super lovely melodic ideas, and slow evolving growly EDM. It's great. Liking the synthetic pizz, nice touch. Feels very melancholic. The ending was suddenly loud, and almost close to clipping. Not to say it's bad, but it scared the hell out of me though lol. Great way to end it though, the whole thing is lovely. Well done!

JohnGabrielUK - Ooh nice string patterns, very cinematic. Love the pauses before each instance. The melodies in this one were amazing, the solo violin is beautiful. Very heroic as Vaia said, i can see this as a score for some 16th century period drama. Awesome work!

Sansero - I'm afraid you are on the money, the squeakiness is correct. It doesn't make it too loud, but it is a little hard on my ears. The melodic sounds were lovely though, and i love how your trying a new creative idea. Surprised you can play the recorder well, i couldn't even get one note in if you tried lol. Honestly i like this a lot, if a bit loud. Well done!

Top 3 - JohnGabrielUK, Vaiaphraim, Sansero.

Awesome - Everyone's awesome, even if i spotted something that could be improved, however they weren't enough to put them in Needs Work.

Needs Work - See above.
