Hey guys i couldn't make it to compo because i was away for a 3 day mini weekend break, so sadly i missed out. However i can vote and i will share my thoughts here. I was supposed to do it sooner, but i have been so god damn busy, this was just an afterthought, and only today i was like "I need to sit down and do this", so let's do it!
DavidKirk - Man i'm loving this techno banger, the beat is nice and thick, but not in your face, and the bass work is catchy as hell. The arrangement is really sick too, it just feels especially well done for 2 hours, it's a slow moving piece, but man it packs a punch. I love this one, well done!
Rvdz - Oh snap i missed this, this is some funk. Your piano work is insane, it doesn't feel normal yet it is. The drums sare tight as always, and the chords are just such amazing earworms. Man you know how to make it jazzy, this is excellent. Well done!
PlumpVulture - More funk! This time though were in a more live setting, with some seriously crispy tones, man these are some sick guitar tones. The whole thing is kind of trippy, yet seriously funky, i love it. So much great melodies here, well done!
AthanThatGuy - Thicccc. I'm loving those chords, and that beat is very interesting, it's not the usual DnB beat. WTF are those growls, holy fucking shit!!!! You mean business, man. Insane growls, incredible arrangement, i love this one so much. Well done!
NelsNose - Tracker? Interesting, not what you usually use. The beat reminds me of a modular synth, and the vocals were amusing. It's more about the minimalistic groove here compared to others, and i dig it. Whole thing is very catchy and fun, i love it, well done!
Lukeloww - Phased guitar for life. These are some seriously cool chords, it's got a faint country and western feel. The drums don't scream Lukeloww, but i dig it nonetheless, in fact i dig the whole thing. The vocals could be a tad bit louder, but that's all i really have, the track is super interesting with some great guitar work. It just needs a tiny bit of smoothing, but it's amazing either way. Well done!
Vaiaphraim - Back to the Yamaha sound, with that RPG melody. You are the kind of making melodies, and this one is no exception. The track as a whole, as a really medievil kind of feel, and the arrangement is really great. The whole track is packed full of really lovely melodic sections. I really dig this a lot, it's so good, well done!
Teenagebeard - That is one muted guitar, it's very deep. The plucking is really nice though, i feel like i'm in a close room. Vocals are exceptional as always, you know how to make great lyrics it's a lovely soothing voice. This track is mostly a close-up guitar performance, but that's fine, it works exceptionally well, and the guitar work is killer. Love this one, well done!
Boomer - Woah those strings are insanely fast. I know you make some intense gabber like music, but this one is especially fast this week. Granted you do like to play with the tempo, so it could be a triplet thing. The intro is not as intense as your usual stuff, but you do make a statement which i really love. The choir work is killer, the whole track has a lovely arrangement. I'm just greatful you're back making music again, after what happened to you. I hope you take great care of yourself. Track was awesome, well done!
Relax.D - Nobody seems to have talked about your entry, that's sad. But then again you must have shared it about 2 minutes after the party was finished so, but anyways. I love the garage rock feel of this one, the tones are really fire, and the beats are varied. Lots of interesting tempo changes too. Vocal work is also really nice, but then again you always sing well. The sound effects in this one are weird but wonderful too, it's a banger, well done!
