Hey guys hope you had a lovely Christmas and soon to be a lovely New Year! As I’ve said, when Christmas is on, I have a lot on, so this means I either won’t be in the party or even worse I will not be submitting. Christmas is important for a lot of people, so that’s why. Sorry it took so long, I’ve been very busy with stuff that’s why it took me a while to get to the entries. I’m actually pretty shocked for a Christmas round, we have 12 entries, that’s insane. Usually I expect 6 entries, but 12!? Either way, I hope you had a fun party without me! Onto the entries!

Ricardomenegasso - Thick chords, really feels epic even though it’s not a cinematic piece as such. Love the funkiness in this one, drums have a nice bit of weird syncopation in them, and the chords are haunting and cold, yet really developed nicely. The track goes through a lot of unique chord changes too, it feels very much like part drone, part funk piece. Love this one a lot, well done!

Vaiaphraim - GM returns! With a nice haunting melody like the last entry, but more in a RPG style than a drone style. Really feel the video game elements here. Not very bass heavy, but to be fair, the brass kind of fulfils the role. It’s got a lot of wonderful melodic changes, you really know your melodies! Yeah I love this one, just as I do with all your entries. Well done!

Krirbs - Ooh nice rain fall, I feel the lo-fi vibes here. The piano melodies are lovely, and so warm and wholesome. I can tell this is a spitfire labs piano based on the trinkets. The melodies I think are tuned by 5cents it just sounds like it’s not in standard tuning. I love the beat, so soft but nicely mixed. The whole thing is just great. Great dynamics, I love it a lot, well done!

Eidolon Ethos - Nice percussion, kind of part Video Game music, part EDM. Really loving the background textures in this, it has that sort of cold ambient feel, but mixed with some cool percussive ideas. Science Fiction like but yet it could easily fit a RPG shop. More of a slow developer, but yet when it does, it’s a big enough change that really captivates you. Love this one a lot, quite the synth experience, well done!

UrinalPooper -  Only pooper would find a way to incorporate breasts into the equation lol. Do I expect anything less? Love the classic punk sound as always, this time with a electronica twist. Kind of adding a bit of a synth sparkly to the already punk sound. The drum rhythms are great, kind of breakbeat like, and the guitar tone is sick as always. It’s just a classic UrinalPunker track done well, but with synth elements thrown in. Absolutely sick stuff mate, well done!

Antik -  Woah is that a sample!? It is that you playing some synths, because it’s so smooth! Considering we have a breakbeat here (Like an actual oldschool beat) I’m gravitating towards sample, but in this day an age I can never tell. Either way it sounds fantastic, I love how smooth it is. Beat could be a tad more stronger, but aside from that, it’s amazingly smooth. Well done!

LBApophis - Sidechained goodness, loving how it pumps. Best had that Daft Punk quality, but not punchy, more like it has an oomph to the overall pumping melodies. Not sure if it’s a sample, but it’s a killer one either way. The kick drum rattles my brain it’s so deep. The vocals are killer, it’s got that proper house vibe, the filtering is so tastefully done as well. It’s a funky bop that I cannot stop moving my head to. This one is killer mate, well done!

AthanThatGuy - Man that was a sudden intro, this is hard hitting before we even get the drop. Yo that transition is absolutely insane. The subs are outrageous, my headphones cannot keep up Jesus Christ lol. The deep subs are so hard hitting it’s almost painful haha. But in a great way, the beat is absolutely fire, I love it so much, well done!

Cryef22 - Nice chill beat after Athans insane dub monster lol. Love the synth banjo, goes great with the chords, although I will say it’s detuned a few cents lower than the chords, it’s a bit off putting, sorry. Not sure if it’s all modular synth, because it feels like it is. The melodies are very pretty don’t get me wrong, it’s just too detuned for me resulting in a mildly dissonant track. Still though, lovely nonetheless it’s very pretty stuff. Well done!

Adreqi - More chill chords, but this time it’s pretty uplifting compared to the others. I feel like I’m in a Christmas theme which is nice, even though it’s the 28th as of writing this lol. The pad and strings are so nice, and the piano melody is so chill and uplifting I’m very happy listening to this it’s lovely. Whole track just makes me feel nice things. Wasn’t expecting trap beats here, but I dig it all the same. Absolutely lovely, well done!

Unknown Pseudoartist - Welcome to 2HTS mate. This is a really nice melody, very mysterious, but mixed with a nice dark overtone. Not too dark though, but the right amount. So many lovely melody changes here, this one is vastly different to your OHC and I love it. It’s got a really nice mellow feel. Wasn’t expecting that punk part, it’s an unexpected loud shift, but I really like it, because it’s different. It’s a lot of fun, with so many great melody changes. Love this one mate, well done!

Relax.D - Last one of the night! That is one processed beat, even has a lot of sick swing in this. Kind of a hip-hip/garage hybrid. Your vocal effects are insane, I love the different delay, phasing, filter and distortion going on. It’s quite indie sounding despite the lack of melody ideas as such (More of a beat heavy track). It’s a killer track, with some sick effects. I love this one, well done!
