I was planning on doing this sooner, but i've been very busy. The minute i got home from the airport, i had a lot of stuff to do so i made the conscious decision to pull out of 2HTS, i'm sorry. I mean i'd literally just got home at around 9:10, so of course i wasn't gonna make it anyways. But i've finally managed to sit down and listen to this, and here are some of my thought's below.

RicardoMennegasso - Sweet metallic arps, the whole thing sounds very mechanical, like were in a factory. The bass work is thick and juicy, and the creepy pads really make this into a lovely soundscape. For this kind of vibe, i was weirdly expecting some kind of drum beat, but beatless also works, especially for the textures presented here. It's very cool stuff, i love it, well done!

LBApophis - More spooky white noise, this feels like a continuation of the last track. Except of course done in your funky style. Lots of cool bitcrushed moments here, it feels very experimental, something i wouldn't expect from you. There's more of an emphasis on beat work here than melodies (And that's a good thing), the grooves were sick and catchy, i love it. Well done!

Rvdz - Ooh RnB piano sounds, your playing is amazing. I love the chorus effect here, it's awesome. Man the playing in this is absolutely insane. Man that beat is both wonky and electro-fied. WTF that Jazz breakdown omg. This is so goddamn funky, those syncopated chords are something else. Not expecting the chiptune leads, but man this is soo good. I cannot stop grooving to this, this was amazing (The chords are excellent) Incredible work!

Nukage - Loving the lo-fi guitars, i feel like were gonna build into a super thick metal banger. The metal part was quite sudden, didn't give me a buildup i guess lol. The mix on this is perfect, not too loud, and not too quiet. Maybe more smoothing if to be pedantic, but it's basically a non issue. Another amazing Nuke piece, with a lot of really incredible vocal performances. Well done!

Adreqi - Filtering for the win! Oof that drop went harder than i needed to be. Almost like Rvdz, but with less syncopation and more of a direct groove. I wasn't expecting a lo-fi 909 type vibe, i assumed more of a disco sample and beat, but this is just as fire as hell. I love how you took the floppy disk sounds and made into a straight banger. This one is super funky, absolutely love the filtering, it totally reminds me of Daft Punk. Well done!

Antik - That sample is very detuned, clearly done on purpose. The mangling of the sample is sick as hell, and the beat is such a vibe. You clearly made it very mangled, but also chill as possible. More of an experimental hip-hop vibe. This is awesome, well done!

AthanThatGuy - Man calm down with the subs omg. I wasn't expecting to go this slow, wow. Man that beat is soo dirty and crispy, it sounds like you've thrown it under a lot of effects. This is hard man, the wubs and dubs really go hard in my eyes, this is amazing. Well done!

Relax.D - Cool mix of TR-808 drums and live drums. Also loving the scatting effects, gives me a MJ feel when you do that. Harmonic ideas are quite detune, but it works well. Vocal work is very clear, and the melodies are tight as hell. Not much in overall harmonies, the vocal melody is the star here, and i honest love it. Usually it's hard to mix vocals (In my opinion), and it's mixed super well here. Loved this one, very unusual sounding, well done!

Vaiaphraim - Man i knew you would do this type of beat given the nature of the theme lol. Even with such a lo-fi raw sound you still manage to make insanely catchy melodies, i'm extremely impressed. Even with the crunchy nature you still manage to provide me with lovely groovy beat, and a sick melody. This one was just lovely stuff, well done!

Lukeloww - That beat is wide as hell, it's great. The vocal work is very quiet in comparison to the rest, however what's provided it very jazzy, very moody and also quite dirty as well, despite it being more of a moody guitar type beat. The bassline is thick, and the drums are nicely compressed. I love the alternation between slightly more upbeat vocal parts, and soft guitar breakdowns it's great. If we had more of a upfront vox, this would be awesome, but as it stands it's still great. Well done!

Meistr - So many great vocal performances here, you really know how to collab here. Loving that beat, it's got that modern punch, but everything is from the lends of 8-bit. Wasn't expecting the tempo speed up, but i'm all for it. The rap part is a bit fast for me to comprehend, but it does sound pretty great within the beat. The 2nd half is also such a vibe, we go into a more modern techno approach. Whole thing is very cool, and insanely catchy. Well done!

Taiine - Last one of the night! Those chords are super airy wow. I feel like i'm on a cloud somewhere. Man you know how to make such a cool chord progression, the synth sounds are gorgeous. I totally feel like i'm up in the air right now, it sounds so pretty. I love how you consistently add new sounds, it feels kind of epic too. Some of the risers and swells were maybe a little too loud, but it wasn't a big deal. The DnB drop was unexpected and insanely hard. Man you mixed that drop so well, it rattles my brain without it being overkill. Whole thing was awesome to be honest, it was just....lovely. Well done!
