The Game is Contra: Shattered Shoulder and the track name is....ehem. Super Robot Powered Yokozuna Jr. (A boss fight, that looks like it came from Contra: Hard Corps)

I didn't pick it for the title. It's a legit banger, that definitely works in the club. Some kind of Hard Trance maybe? On the plus side it also has a lot of rich atmosphere in the middle section, so it's a blank canvas for anything to add. Also there is a lot of dynamic push and pull. For how simple it is, there is so much you can do!
It's a boss fight, so i'd see why it's this intense! Good luck to you all!

It is not necessary to use ThaSauce. You can upload the song anywhere you want, but I must have a download link. So if you use SoundCloud, don't forget to allow downloads, otherwise your song does not count as an entry or bonus mix. I will still use ThaSauce as a possible place to submit songs and upload all the songs to the ThaSauce page to have the songs at one central place.
If ThaSauce is down, please also submit the song somewhere else with a download link and post the link in the Ocremix Thread.
To participate it is enough to only remix one of the sources, as written in the 'Multiple Source Rounds' description at the rules site. But there's a bonus of 3 points for remixing both in one song.

I've already won the last few rounds, so i think it's fair i remix my own source. Besides, i'm feeling more inspiration for Contra than Secret of Mana. Sorry that's how i am.
Although loads of Contra Games have fantastic soundtracks, this has to be one of the top 3. The sheer energy from the sounds used, the combination of rock and electronic beats. One minute it's heavy metal, the next minute it's Hard Trance like this one. Although by design it's extremely simple, but if you have creativity you can actually turn this into something epic, which kind of what i did. I structured it almost like a Trance song, where it goes from nothing to something. Also the 2nd main difference is a pseudo melody, whereas the original was just chords. Still though, that does mean ignore this masterpiece.
Hopefully, while my entrant homes in closer to the source, it should be enjoyable enough.
