I choose "Cinderella Cage ~ Kagome-Kagome" as my source. It's one of my favorite tracks from the Touhou series. I was worried about it being too troublesome to make a good remix of on its own, but I know a couple of of great multisource remixes that use this song to good effect, and it just so happens that this next round will have two sources :D
When choosing it, it occoured to me that one of the melodies (the very opening melody in the song) is based on song from a Japanese Children's game called "Kagome Kagome" and might not be an appropriate source by OCR standards; I asked a judge, and, if I understood correctly, he said that the material based on the original Kagome Kagome song doesn't count, but the rest of it is good for OCR standards. So the melody at 0:00 to 0:09 doesn't count towards use of source material. (Though it works great as an ostinato for the other materials)"

Sorry about being an entire other compo late to make a decision. since there's gonna be 2 tracks to choose from, I went for something relatively calm and simple so its not daunting for other people to try to mix in both picks. Hopefully this idea works =)
My pick this time around is a track from Fire Emblem Advance called requiem.

Since there are two sources, the rules for multiple sources apply. To participate, only one of the two songs has to be remixed. However, it is encouraged and awarded with a 3 point bonus if both sources are mixed in one song. Both Supercoolmike and Overkillius may enter, they have to remix the source selected by the other. They also can get the 3 point bonus by mixing both sources in one song, altough the source of the other must be the 'dominant' source.
They also can mix their own source only as a bonus track.
