TheVideoGamer - Nice genre swap. I like the mega man like effects but watch your balance. The drums are louder than the synths through out the piece. Also add some variety to your main leads, especially in a repetitive and atmospheric track. Good overall
Trism - This is dripping with atmosphere. This song sets a mood and works with it. The bass and guitar fit with the dark mood but I think some more of the source should have been in there some place.

PlanarianHugger - Very catchy combination of stuff in this one. The song has a good variation. It misses a real ending.
Trism - Dark and spooky version. Really enjoyable altough (like you said) there's not so much source material in it (but there is some). It's an interesting take for sure.
TheVideoGamer - This style works good with this source, it's nice how everything in this song goes together. This is different as Trism's version :P

Out of the 2, PlanarianHugger was more closer to the original, and more instantly recognisable than the other. Still it was good though.

Trism - Yeah it has some stylistic similarities with the original, but in terms of style, other than that nothing else is present from the original. I know you mean well, when you say the source is in there, but i really cannot hear it, and that is why i placed you 2nd. In terms of the track itself though, i love the dynamic uses of the drum kit, and the guitar tones were really cool, you did some great ideas with the sounds. Has an eerie atmospheric quality to it. Well done, you did great!

PlanarianHugger - Besides being closer to the source, i too thoroughly enjoyed this. I really liked the the electronica elements, and the proto-synth guitar. The drums were really nice too, the mix was clean, a big step up from other tracks from yours. Maybe it does get a bit close to the loudness threshold, but nothing too jarring. All in all i really liked the interpretations, but enough so i heard the original source well. Well done, you earnt this win.

Well, since both were very re-interpretive, I decided to roll with Trism. He created an awesome stealthy metal take on the theme. Kinda remidns me of games on the PS3 and and Xbox 360 days. And that atmospheeeere. Spoopy.

Planarian Hugger made a cool MMX and Phantasy Star vibe to the source. Pretty damn good.

TheVideoGamer, neat BONUS, but I think something more interesting could've been put in place of the moogy...square synths? Not sure what the lead sound is. I like the 80's toms lmao.
