Great Entries guys. It's interesting to see your sources for video games, as well your take on originals. Out of all of them, Dudley's is fantastic.

Dudley Ghost - My word this is awesome. I love the rather crunchy distorted elements of the beats, and the rather electro-ish bassline for some hard hitting electronica, but when the melody and chords come in, it really turns it into a beautiful carefree song. It's very bright and uplifting despite it being a rather hard hitting breakbeat track. This s beautiful, and everything is dynamically balanced. If there were to be problems (Honestly i only have one minor flaw). The mixing at times can be a little rough, i heard it especially with the lead synth in conjunction into the other elements. Despite the minor nitpick this is amazing and deserves the top spot Well done Dudley!

Silverpool - Honestly it's interesting how you went for Sonic Forces, a rather mediocre title by many reviewers, but i'm familiar with the score, and seeing your take on it is pretty good. The choice of synths are beautiful, particularly the square arps. Everything shines, and stand-out than normal. The choice of sounds too really give it character, as i sensed out a retro sound. The problem from me though, was it wasn't accurately provoking any retro vibe (I could tell it was meant to be retro, because of the drum samples and frequent use of square-waves) If that isn't the case then that's ok, it's each to everyone's interpretation. Really the main problem is the mixing, some parts got a little too loud for me, and there wasn't a unusual absence of drums, which i heard you were showcasing. Maybe add more drums and a bassline too, to spruce up the character and stop it for becoming bare. Ignoring that though, this is a great remix and showcases a rather interesting blend of sounds and style. Good Job Silver!

Brundeslang - I like the source you chose and the style you went for. I'm a sucker for techno and trance. I will say, it got a bit crunchy for me, (Very crunchy for me. Weather it's intentional or not, it didn't work, sorry). Despite, the mixing i recognised your take, and got a knack out of the effort you put into it. Well Done though, i enjoyed your take.

1 - I love that bass. The track almost has a music box quality to it. I enjoyed the restraint on the drums. Because I have none.

2 - Good idea to put a whole soundtrack DJ mixed. I like the tracks as a whole but the production is a little uneven here and there (piano sounds and bells). I enjoyed the sampled beats mixed in with the drum machines. Good contrast. Nice bass sounds. Love the variety

3 - The track unfortunately gets overdriven because its so loud and you lose some detail. I love the tempo pushing and the flow of the track is solid. Strong entry

TheVideoGamer: Wow, what an incredible musical ride and an original soundtrack as well! Honestly, I enjoyed all of the songs, but my personal favorites were Stage 1, Stage 4 (I love snow levels), Ending (mellow and uplifting). Everything was cohesive and each track painted a nice picture and portrayed
the atmosphere of the location or event quite well. Finally, production-wise, everything sounded clear and crisp. Very well done!

dudley-ghost: I love the ambience, bell lead, and that bass - you had some very nice synth
choices here! As for the train comment, I thought the beat kind of sounded like one in slow(er)
motion - that was a really cool touch!

bundeslang: This is the first time I've heard of this game and song! I thought your rendition was quite upbeat, and your synth choices did a great job of evoking the atmosphere of the level itself. So, great job on this one!

Silverpool: First off, I love the Sonic Forces soundtrack, so I'm glad to see a remix of a song from it here in this round in the PRC! I love the spooky sounds you selected here and the classic vibe this mix has - excellent!

Thanks for the very enjoyable mixes everyone!

TheVideoGamer - Probably one of the longest songs for PRC ever. Very good idea to post a 'complete soundtrack', there's a lot of variation for a song with this length.
Dudley Ghost - Interesting choice to make an original. There's a good setup, liked the balance between the stuff, there's a lot in it.
Silverpool - Liked the style you used, it's a good combination of stuff (the 'light' samples against the 'dark' background work well together).
Bundeslang - You might try to introduce various option, but not the option that you win this round.

Can I put THeVideoGamer in all 3 slots? J/K :P

#1 Holy shit that's like a music dossier right there. I got one that needs to be dusted off and re-mastered before I sell it on various storefronts lmao. This stuff reminds me of my older works for sure. But less ADHD. Actually there is more variety to the style here than I expected. Love the oldschool vibe to 'em. Track-4 is my fav - has a DKC/David Wise vibe to it that i love.

2# Lmao Dudley Ghost I have a lot of stuff on hold, cuz reasons. That creative spark and drive can't be forced sometimes. Nice tune, has a thoughtful vibe to it and reminds me of a breakbeat chill-step atmosphere, kinda like the stuff we used to hear in a lot of PS1 and PC games. Hmmm...the latter part reminds me of Axiom Verge lol.

#3 Nice use of SANIC sounds. This theme is kinda spooky. 8-bit goodness.

#4 Bundaslang, put all the channel volumes down! Lol! So much clipping. On the plus side, the sounds and drums you picked are much better than the older stuff you put forth. Good to hear you participating :P
