Hoboka: The percussion choices are a nice touch. Not a fan of the fm sounding bassline, perhaps a different synth patch would have worked better here? You did well with the key change of those notes, it helped the bridge(?) fit in better.

PlanarianHugger: This reminds me of the town theme for an old DOS RPG game. Definitely a different take on the source. It works better than I would have expected. The bridge part of the song had some sour notes, but I suspect that was due to the midi.

GCJ: You took a cool direction with the source. You could place this ReMix in a hyrule theme kart racing game and it would fit well. The lead melody needs something to get it just right but Im not sure what it would be. nice Drum patters/samples as well!

esperado - had a very Rare aesthetic, like DKC - nice n chill. Zora's Domain has always had a semi atmospheric feel to it, so it makes sense to remix it this way. I'd love to hear a more complete version of it too!

GCJ - has a cool Street Fighter Alpha 2 feel to it!! NICE!! Cool percussion and piano-synth work. Esp a fan of the percussion.

PlanarianHugger - there isn't much going on here for something that is 4 minutes long...maybe at 1:30 that'd be fine, but I felt there needed to be more development. It has a very Korg MIDI Keyboard feel to it - which isn't bad if you intended to go for a super low-fi retro MIDI feel. Actually kindles some memories of the Ultima series. Interesting take there.

1. Esperado - Ah a calm version! Track definitely lends itself well to that. Pads are nice and ethereal. Little "bubble" and water drop effects are a nice touch. Little glitchy moments are interesting as well. Would have liked to hear what the B section would have sounded like in this soundscape as well.

2. Hoboka - Bass sounds weird by itself at the beginning. When the rhythm kicks in at around 1:00, bass fits in better and the groove starts to set in. Really great groove by 1:26, with a key change to boot! Beginning was shaky, but the ending was great.

3. PlanarianHugger - Trying out some Genesis stuff, awesome! Like the synths you've chosen here, with the pads and bass. A big player in Genesis music are some of the funky drum samples. Not sure if you have access to them with that soundfont, but they're sorely missed in this mix. I like some of the variations to the melody here, more variations would be appreciated! Definitely can envision this being on a Genesis game like Ecco the Dolphin or something.

GCJ - Super fast version! I really like that you took the non-obvious route of taking the tune in a more energetic direction. However, it may have been better to put that energy into the bass and rhythms instead of the melody, as it's almost dizzying trying to stay with up with it. Maybe a drop in BPM by 20-30 could help solidify where the melody is? Pads/chords and instrumentation is pleasant. Definitely acceptable as a WIP!

hoboka's arrangement is a bit conservative for my taste, but it was certainly enjoyable to listen to, with the end being the best part with its wonderful atmosphere. PlanarianHugger's was my favorite arrangement-wise, however the instrumentation is a bit weird and it detracts from the atmosphere, with a very nice Genesis pad in the background but a plucky lead that probably should have had some reverb to let it carry. The ending is certainly the best part, and its where the pluck sounds fine since notes are being played continuously, without large pauses inbetween. It grows on me the more I hear it, but I feel the instrumentation could have been better with some simple effects or even other genesis sounds that could work as a lead. esperado's arrangement has the best atmosphere, in my opinion. I give it third, though, because it's too quiet to even hear for the first 40 seconds, and even when the volume is up, the part isn't that interesting during those 40 seconds. The part where it's real interesting starts at about 1:30 and only lasts for about 40 seconds, while the rest is too repetitive for my taste, and the snare sounds like it was mixed with the intention of having the lead play throughout the whole song, so it sounds too loud when the lead isn't playing.

hoboka - Nice upgraded version of the original. I liked the added elements and key change part way through but thought it was too close to the original for my liking.
esperado - So mellow and calm. Perfect for a relaxed water level just wished it built more.
GCJ - Like the idea but this was too fast. Also sounded busy but that might be fixed with a slower tempo.

Esperado - The volume of this is a bit lower as the others. The intro is relaxing, nice built-up to the middle part.
GCJ - The start has lots of energy, maybe a bit too much. There's a lot of nice stuff in it, but could use a bit more variation.
HoboKa - +1 for the title. I like how the samples are combined, liked the stuff in the background. Could use an ending.
PlanarianHugger - This song has a good built-up, the song becomes more intensive later on which I liked.
