Esperado - I like the chippy samples you used. Also the strings are great. The building to the end is great as well but the end itself is abrupt.
GrapplingHook - Snakeman, one of my favorites from Mega Man. I didn't like that background main sample, but the drums are a nice addition.
Supercoolmike - When I was listening to the song, I was thinking which game it would fit best. Could definitely be a last stage before Sigma song in Mega Man X. The lead synth is a little bit too dominant (but only a little), it works nicely with the rest of the source. (and the final boss was selected by you as source for the next round :)
Touchstone - For some reason, this song sounds like a Donkey Kong song. The last part was the best.
Bundeslang - Probably, your song title can be Wooden Hammer as well.
Trism - The source tune is sad, but the song itself is not. Nice 'rip'.
Tsusurra - I like the guitar. For the rest the song is simple, but the pizza must be eaten of course.

esperado - I love the intro (up to 0:18) but after that the drums get a bit lost in the mix at certain points. The bass 'wobble' gets a little repetitve after a while. Very nice mix overall though.

Grapplinghook - Nice harsh saw synth and the new drums go well with the feel of the track.

bundeslang - It all gets a bit messy with the echo and reverb as well as being a bit on the repetitive side. Considering the small amount of source material though it's pretty good.

supercoolmike - The drums are rather lacklustre but the synth work is very good. Some subtle pads in the mix might work well.

touchstone - The lead(s) are panned all the way over to one side which is a bit distracting. The arrangement is awesome though and the sounds used work very well.

tsusurra - I like the gradual layering of each part coming in and the samples used. Quite a bit of hiss on the track.

Don't have a whole lot of time to give detailed feedback this round. However i wanted to shout to mike for making his entry essentially the boss theme for the last round of 2014. supercoolmike with the supercool idea.

Nothing super concrete comes to mind for reasoning, so it's a fairly subjective lineup.

This is Not Tetris gets a few more points than the others because... I like it a little more.

The Final Stand takes second because... it's pretty cool too.

Tsusurra - Very relaxing, and I can't help but get a lil nostalgic because this totally sounds like it can be from the " sound shapes" game.

Touchstone - the song definitely sounds like it can be played by a pep band. Only thing that throws me off is just that right now, it sounds like the default midi stuff is playing. Definitely want to hear how this would sound with a real pep band doing it.

Trism - Even if u don't like with how ur original turned out, I think that u should have just submitted it because it sounds to me that u cared about it. Just submitting this midi-rip kinda sends the wrong message.

Bundeslang - Don't really know what to say other than that's a interesting source u picked (I personally wouldn't pick a source like that since it just sounds like a jingle to me more than a song Imo).

Grapplinghook - Is it possible for u to finish this song? I know holidays pretty much took every ones times, its just that this song sounded like it had potential to kik ass.

Esparado - sick remix man. I remember playing a columns game from the sega Genesis and it was awesome.
