sir_nuts: hey, synth pop with italo influences, I'm always in the mood for that! Great selection of sounds and some clear Italo references ;) The synth pads around 0:57 are a bit too loud and detuned for me, otherwise highly enjoyable.

evktalo: nice rock sketch, too bad it wasn't finished and has some timing issues. Some melody would be a nice next step :)

Xsquader: nice dancy track, quite different from the original. Gets a bit overly busy at the end tho.

supercoolmike: apart from drowning in reverb I like this alternate orchestral take a lot. I expected it to break into epicness with brass and big drums at any moment, but it didn't. Starts a bit slow but sounds good.

hoboka: interesting drum sounds :) Like the ambient break around 0:45, gives it an ominous mood. The lead around 2:00 could be a bit less static but overall enjoyable.

MushroomSword: welcome aboard! great first entry, turned out nice. Interesting sound choices, some timing issues in the lead guitar, but not enough to distract from enjoyment :)

grauw: great to see you here ;) cool intro, and interesting take on the source track. Like the atmosphere you create and the synth lead doodlin'. Also the only one to include the solo part. Great 'n dreamy ambience!

1. Use Your Body — I like the detuned lead a lot lot. It reminds me of something but I can’t remember what (uff). Very well produced, great choice of instruments, a lot of variation… Not bored for a second :).

2. The Princess is a cow — Nice chilled out! Like the guitar playing, the drums too. Ends nicely. Too bad it’s a bit short. A section without guitar for variation would’ve filled it up nicely. A drum solo or something, sounds like you could’ve pulled that off :).

3. Whippin That Thang Good — Sounds good, nice choice of instruments and blips and bloops. Gets a bit repetitive though, instruments change but it’s the same sequences.

Mahtava mato — I think the word sketch sums it up. Hiccups in the timing etc. Props for real guitar. p.s. Bluesy Usas was real nice :).

Use Your PLASMA! — I don’t like the cello sound it starts off with much, they sound samply. Song could use more variation. The modulation and “ice drops” are nice.

Head Into The Abyss — Nice slow orchestral take on it. I think it tries to sound a bit too dramatic though. And it sounds a bit synthetic, e.g. more dynamics in the piano part (or even a real one) would’ve been good.

Sir_NutS - I feel somewhat guilty as I commonly listen to a lot of synthpop in my personal life as it's one of my favorite genres and I feel that may have helped me choose this over Grauw's but I feel this did the synthpop genre justice and enjoyed listening to it very much.

Grauw - Very technically pleasing, while I feel this was very well done from a technical level, I feel it's a wee bit too slow, maybe this is a personal preference thing but I feel like this is a dancey track that's too slow to really dance to and I wouldn't call it the type to slow dance to either. It'svery good but I wish it was just a tad bit more upbeat.

supercoolmike - I like how you gave it the sort of orchestrated sound. This pulled it away from that vgm music sound and really made it seem like your own, however I feel you could have done a bit more to give it an epic feel that I didn't get while listening as well, but still, overall well done.

Everybody did great, this was a hard round to vote for and I like how so many people participated. Good job guys, this was a great round, would like to see more of these!

Xsquader - Nice samples. I really like the part after 1:00.
Evktalo - I liked how you used the source with this genre, it works well. Would like to hear a finished version.
Grauw - Very relaxing version. Everything is in a nice balance, I also like the drums in the background a lot.
HoboKa - There's a good variation in the song, the strings in the background really work well.
MushroomSword - Very creative start. Good interpretation of the source.
Sir Nuts - The introduction is great, like the complete song. The built-ups are from high quality.
Supercoolmike - The piano and everything in the background are in a good balance.

Great round everyone, it was a tough vote. Many different songs, but all from strong quality. Great job everyone.

Sir_Nuts - Really enjoyed this song, the synths u used were just great.

Evktalo - Even though it was on the short side, I liked what was there. the riffs sounded pretty cool so i'm curious to hear the finished version.

Xsquader - synths used were pretty cool, really enjoyed the middle when the other synths came in and poped ur rendition.

Hoboka - Even if don't think ur other renditions will add something new to the table, the prolific mindset to make different versions is where its at. That being said, Enjoyed the atmosphere/ambient sounds in the background and having a gritty E.Guitar ( I think)

MushroomSword - really dig the guitar and the overall atmosphere. really chill.

Grauw - the build up was a little too long for my tastes imo, BUT that does not mean I didn't enjoyed it. it was great When the other lead synth came in the middle.

I cant decide ! I have heard every song like 5 times in a row, they are all great, this is definitely the best PRC since I entered the site. Someone need to make a playlist of this compo ^^

I will try to do a little review of all the songs later

Btw I think every song deserves the 1st place
