Esperado - The bassline is making this song, I like the piano thingy at the end. The end itself is abrupt.
Ichitootah - Short mix, it sounds easy, but I liked anything what is in it, especially the beginning and end.
MindWanderer - Nice combination. Unusual, but that makes it interesting and special.

I just vote First Come, First Serve this time.

Esperado: Interesting, the filtered choir ended up sounding sort of like a bagpipe. I'm amused that both you and I used some Capcom elements in our mixes. Although the length ended up similar to Ichitootah's, his still sounds more polished (yours is really quiet, especially) and has something like an ending.

Ichitootah: Very nice soundscape, although the guitar is weaksauce. A bit too far deviated from the source material, IMO, but a pleasant arrangement.

Sky Sketch - electric bass and harp duet? That's an awesome combination. I'll admit I'm voting this first most based on the potential here.. it's really short and the sounds are unconvincing, but the sheer idea of such a duet + the variations from the original made me smile.

Tomb in the Sky - as unfinished as this is, the vibe is really, really cool. Cave Story -esque to me.

La Puta - I like the deranged feel of the track, and the overall sound has promise. I like that you're branching out to try some new things. The harmony isn't working, the pad starting at 0:20 is the culprit (this makes me vote the track last). The drums are powerless and everything is sinking in reverb. I liked the wubbass in the middle very much though, and the short stabby main bass sound is quite nice too. The final crescendo I liked as well.

MindWanderer, you probably meant "Laputa" instead of "La Puta".. if you weren't going for a kind of a low-brow pun. :D

I like the uncompromising drive and energy in La Puta, plus there are some interesting sounds like the rumbly guitar-ish thing at 1 minute.

Tomb in the sky is cool too, nice details sprinkled in the mix such as the chip sounds, and the groove has got attitude.

Both of them sound kind of Eastern for whatever reason, maybe it was the source.

Good job to both of you.

Ichitootah - Oh man that harp! Amazingly clear sample there. The bass line sounded good enough but the few times it had to play by itself highlighted the low quality of the sound used. Subtle background pads worked well.

MindWanderer - I loved the breakdown at about 1:00. Drums were pretty lackluster and followed the same groove pretty much all the way through. A cool collection of sounds overall though.

esperado - Hmmm, the bass tends to override pretty much everthing other than the drums. I can tell that there are fx and a lead in there but it's nowhere near as clear as it could be. The drum work is excellent. The piano right at the end had a lot of promise.
