Xsquader - I like this style, don't hear this much in PRC. The songs sounds very complete. Also the end is good.
OneUp - Your trancy style works again. I especially like the part around 1:00, there's good variation and the kick also works well.
Hoboka - Funny style, the last 35 seconds are a bit weird in combination with the first part, but it is a good variation.
FreakyT - It is short and simple. The built-up is nice and the (short) source is used very well.
DrumJ8 - Nice combination of the sources. Even though there's not much variation in the instruments, the song didn't bore me.

That 80s feel is definitely the way I hear this source. Really that's how most of the 'normal' songs from Star Control 2 seem. Xsquader's mix is a pretty good example of how they come out in my mind.
OneUp - Standard, but still good.
Drumj8 - Not sure that I dig the overall instrument/production side mesh in this piece, but some cool flashes of inspiration on the arrangement side.

OneUp - Amazing. Lot's of energy. The trance sound works really well and I love what you did to it.

DrumJ8 - I was also extremely fond of this work right here. I reminisce of the nes with the lead synth. The bassline works real well with that. Also a lot of energy in this track.

FreakyT - When I saw that it was 15 seconds long I didn't want to touch it. You gave it an excellent sound though. I very much like what you did to it. You definitely used that 15 seconds well.

Thanks for all the takes on the Yehat theme, I enjoyed the results quite a bit (:

Yehat's Darkside - Very enjoyable 80s treatment of the source!

Control the Starship... - The yearning feel of the beginning is very fitting for the source. A bassline for the more "fast beat"-oriented bits of the piece would have been nice, but the more atmospheric parts were fine as they were.

wnt t blv - It did feel kind of standard, but I enjoyed it, and especially appreciated the Orz mariner sound effect in there!

Earth All Along - Nice cinematic feel. The momentum doesn't seem to pick up properly, for instance the 0:15 breaks it. It stays restrained, which is not a bad thing in itself. But the piece is quite short!

Giant Airborne Primates - slow bass and busy beat make for a nice floating feel. Around 1:25 & 1:33 feel dissonant, the themes clash in an unpleasant way. That said, I like how you changed the fanfare theme. I'm left wanting to hear more, I wish it would pick up with a busier groove and change up the chords a bit.

Yehat's Darkside by Xsquader: Alright my fellow RVAer! The first thing I liked was the great use of panning on everything, really gave the piece a wide sound. This has a great dance-like feel to it which sounds great. Your remix has a really great flow to it. Pretty groovy man, you did an excellent job with your remix!

Control the Starship or Whatev by hoboka: Very fun track! Fantastic use of reverb, I really like the mix of sound especially in the beginning. The end was very nice as well, I could have a lot of fun throwing djenty guitars over that haha

Earth All Along by FreakyT: The really like the orchestral sound in this, and I know it takes a bit more work to get it sounding good as supposed to all synths. The samples sounded really good, but I wish the track was a bit longer!

wnt t blv by OneUp: Ive always had an affection for trance. This is the kind of track I could listen to over and over before I get bored; it just has a great atmosphere to it. I really enjoyed the part around 2min, the change up really complimented the track. Production sounds darn good for only a nights worth of work.

Giant Airborne Primates by DrumJ8: Mashing the snare with the Star Control source sounded pretty sweet man. I really dig the whole sound and feel of your track. The buildup in the middle was tasteful, I was sorta hoping a for a bass drop and my hair to be blown back after, but thats okay lol

Xsquader - nice solid mix. I like the fullness of the sound.

hoboka - The beginning was my favorite part, it sounds nice and slow, and dark, I like it.

OneUp - I like the chord progression in the pads.

FreakyT - Nice interesting arrangement of a 15 second track :D I'll say, try experimenting with the velocities of the notes, e.g. every piano note sounds accented and pushed a little too hard.

DrumJ8: I like that you tried to fuse the sources together! When the DK melody comes in, I'll admit it sounds a bit odd in places; not sure how it could be integrated better, though.

Xsquader: The intro is my favorite part! The rest seems repetitive but generally pleasant to listen to.

hoboka: I'm not nuts about that strange intro sound, but I like the rest of the song. I like the almost new-agey feel with the ethereal choir sound.
