I like the take from JustinTense. It has an interesting intro and a nice bass, but it's not variating much after that.
Sci's song has some nice samples. The last phase of the song's a little long.
Evktalo has a good structure in his song. The song is in a good balance.

Close songs, all of them deserve to win.

evktalo: I think the mastering could have been better, and that there were a few parts that felt kind of empty or dry or some better word that I can't think of. However, the elements you added work very nicely while keeping the source recognizable (in contrast to, say, my own entry). Plus the song reminds me a bit of Chrono Trigger, which is never a bad thing.

JustinTense: very nice genre adaptation, keeping the source intact and recognizable. that leads to perhaps my only complaint about the song: it doesn't stray too far from the original melody. All the elements you added compliment the melody, though this isn't a bad thing. I can definitely see this song winning.

it's really a tough choice, but I'm going with evktalo's entry. it's a fun one. :)

Both pieces were pretty good. Justin Tense's was a more complete piece, so I placed it first. It had good structure and sounded good. The melody worked quite interestingly in this style. It gave the piece a contemplating feel, if that makes sense. I thought it could have been made more driving occasionally, by altering the melody occasionally, but overall it worked as is.

sci's piece was a little restless, there were a lot of ideas in the two minute space and it could have probably benefited from structuring those ideas more evenly, or so I felt. The source was hard to hear except for the beginning, but the bells were there which I thought was good. I liked the sounds and their combination, the synths, strings and bells worked well together.

Both tracks were great so it was hard to pick between the two however I marginally picked evktalo as my fav due to his catchy main melodic riff that he added in his production. I really liked the way he played with the melodies structure.
