atmospherium: Very nice tone, nice steady playing. May be a bit light on melody, but it sets such a nice mood. The half time section is especially cool.

nukage: Very full featured track with a lot of arrangement variation, I especially liked how the vocal faded out and the other parts of the track came in to replace it.

coloradoweeks: The expressiveness in the phrases is really lovely and it sounds really natural for you to sing even when you're apparently stuck. Great work

Because i replied to comments on the discord, i don't need to do it here, so this is irrelevant. On to the voting!

TheVideoGamer - As you may have guessed from all the comments on discord, that this is a track featuring a non stop beeping like sound, that could be interpreted as a siren, alarm or other consistent noise. The beep wasn't just gonna be there as it was, but you have to remember i only have 1 hour and 30 minutes in total (Which includes mixing, uploading, rendering etc..) so any chances for high quality is gonna be very hard to come by. If you take out the siren and focus on the other stuff, it's actually interesting. The drums are gabber drums with a few percussion layers thrown in, so not much to talk about there, but the chords are quire unique. It's mostly 4 layers of pad chords including a string section, some lead pads and a textural pad, that comprise of major chords built out of 5th's. So i'm stacking 5th's to make essentially these ethereal chords. The melody is a nice simple lead melody, but with a lot of articulations to keep it rhythmical and exciting. It doesn't last for the whole track, but it does prevent it from being unlistenable. I mean it already is unlistenable lol, but at least there is substance. People think this is a troll post, but it's not. It's actually just an experiment, that kind of backfired. I could have expanded this, by varying the beep sound, add more melodies and chords, maybe more drums, however as i've said i don't get much time in these compo's. All in all, i appreciate the feedback regardless.

DarkShadow - LaserShadow should be your nickname lol. There is quite the kick workout in this. Although i do like the sounds, it's another chaotic type track, that i'm not really my cup of tea. But it's still a lot of fun though, it's pretty cool. Good job!

bjkmenu - So glad you can submit! Heard you were having problems. Digging the electric piano chord work, and that drum beat is fire! Quite funky with a 80's styled backing. The square melodies do take some time to get into, but they weren't too annoying or anything. I like them. I had to relisten a few times to make sure i got my thoughts down, because i do feel it has a lot of potential for more maybe, like a string pad, and a more in time chord progression. But at the same time i did really like what you've brought to the table. The good outweighs the bad, so i'll give you it. Well done!

Coloradoweeks - 100mg? What do you mean by that, is that...caffeine pills or something? Nice fill into the bassline, it's super funky as hell. This is not a quiet waveform at all lol. However the sounds and grooves are fire. The drums are getting squished by the pitched sounds, i could do with a beefier kick. The track really takes form when you add your vocal melodies, it's very catchy. Maybe a beefier kick, and some smoothing so it doesn't sound too overblown, but aside from that this was seriously dope. Even with it's potential touches, this is definately voting worthy, even if i can only choose 3. Awesome work!

Barley - Ooh this sounds like a polyrhythm. I do like the ambient parts in this, it's almost like atmospheric rock in a way. The guitars are more of a background elements, which is rare for Barley, as you like your thicc guitars centre stage. The track itself is very cool, but i sense a lot of potential. The vocals come in right when the track is about to end, there is lot dynamic work that could be added in the guitars to make it more exciting. And probably a few layers of synths to bring out the space feel. Still enjoyed this though, ton of fun! Good job!

Atmospherium - That is one dirty synth ostinato. This is almost like Cyber Metal and i'm here for it. That is one phat drum sound, sounds quite epic and we haven't even gotten to the shreddage yet. The guitar tone is sick and dirty too. You also opted for a polyrhythm too. There is some strange background ambience that is generated from just the bass synth and the guitar. It's actually really cool. The power of a good synth can do wonders. This is definately more Djent but without the vocals. The breakdown was killer. Really switches up the mood, and sounds like double time, but with a more open guitar tone. Just letting the feedback do it's work. This is more of a minimal guitar piece, if Minimalism is a thing for Metal. Honestly even if you are experimenting with different sections in certain amount of repeats, the sections alone provide enough value to keep me invested. It's not just loops, but loops done extremely well, it's great. I wish you didn't end the piece suddenly, i was into it, and then you decided "Nope, we done. Bye!". A good ending would make this even better. I'm rambling now, so it's an obvious well done from me! In fact i'll do you one better, this is soo good i picked it for the top spot. Incredible work!

Nukage - Nuke almost breaking the 5 minute barrier. This is actually more rare than i was expecting. Lovely build-up, this is the Nuke that i remember from like a 2 year ago lol. It's very classic EDM buildup, with a lovely vocal and synth sound. It's very sick, and really hypes me up. Damn the drop even has some counter snares, lots of swing. I know you make funky drops, but this is very funky. The vocals are more of a background element, but i think this is deliberate. This track is really nice in terms of arrangement, everything works super well, hyped all the way through. Now sadly you did slam the limiter hard for this. It's very distorted, practically clipping. Now luckily it's not Merzbow level of noise, were quite a way away from that, but it is very hard on the ears. Even with that being said though, the arrangement is killer, and despite much back and forth delegation, i ultimately decided that's what ended up with me giving you this. Well done!

obScene - Ok this is more of an acoustic rock type beat, which is quite odd for obScene lol. It's quite funky and syncopated, i'm shocked. But you still provide us with the obScene classics, such as the articulated strings, both long and short form. The lead melody (Which is not distorted, i'm concerned lol), as well as the piano licks. It sounds more atmospheric than some of your other tracks, it's quite interesting. The drums and the melodies felt disjointed at first, but as i listened, they just made sense. The whole thing is one lovely and calming experience, yet still being quite funky. Quite the sick mashup of genres here. So good i gave you the 2nd spot! Amazing work!

Arcana - Even at only 11 tracks, people still find ways to interject 4-5 minute pieces in them lol. Nice vibrato tone, reminds me of Thomas Bangalter's Rectum (It's a piece from the Irreversible Soundtrack). It's quite the vibrato heavy tune in the synth work. The vocals are very cool, the singing is very....angelic even with the harsh vibrato synths. The vocals are a little quiet in the mix, but they don't loose the flow or take me out of the experience at all. Lot of cool distortion flowing in and out. It might perhaps be a little too...drone heavy. I don't want to say repetitive, because my track was Steve Reich level repetitive (In the siren and drums). but dynamics could play a role here. You could add more and more sounds to make one nonstop build-up like i did a few rounds ago. Lots of potential for smoothing. Still enjoyed this though, this is one of your most coolest tracks to date, very unique. Good job!

Misael.K - That is a latin-ish inspired guitar, that i am all for it. The bassline is great in this, although it is a little forward in the mix, and the guitars are a little in the back. Saying that though, it's rare to heard full on acoustic music from you, so i'll give you a pass on that one lol. The melody is very nice here, i can definately sense a bit more mixing would make this awesome. Lots of background guitars getting lost, whilst the drums and bass are powering through. I'll give you this one, but just barely. I felt the melody work and overall chord structures was why i'm putting this in the Awesome section. Well done!

JH Sounds - I love that room tone, wow. I know this is not new from you, but it just goes so well in this track. That is a pretty piano line, lots of cool changes. I could totally see this performed by a live band. I've heard some lovely music from you, but this is especially so, thanks to that lovely catchy piano line and guitar work. The breakdown took me out, i wasn't expecting something so laid back, after the shuffled swing of the previous track, but it was very dynamic, and quite....soulful. Very expressive, which i love. So good i picked you for the third spot. You must be doing something right, since i keep voting for you. Amazing work!

THEGREATDESTORYER22 - Even if you think it sucks, uploading a piece is quite a courageous thing to do. Because it means your music is even better than the drivel i make lol. That was a joke by the way, i'm self-deprecating myself. The track is miles from bad. The drums are super unique and textural, it sounds closer to found sound. The textures are very on brand for an industrial piece, i am reminded of Cabaret Voltaire but the early 80's material. This is quite the groove, to say it's distorted. I can sense a chord progression and a bassline in this, but it's very buried in the mix. You might as well not even bother haha. The track is definately not terrible. The 2nd half was quite the unexpected switch. Full on Military Electronica with the intense bitcrushed beat. Not what i was expecting, but damn i dig it a lot. This is not terrible, i really dig it. It does need some stuff, like amplify the the very quiet chords and bass lol, maybe add some eerie pads, or even add some melodic ideas in the 2nd half, who knows. It's definately got potential. Good job!

Top 3 - Atmospherium, obScene, JH Sounds.

Atmospherium and JH Sounds placement could have changed on any date. It was hard picking which goes for the top spot and which goes for the third spot. Definately not easy.

Coloradoweeks was also potential for the list, but alas i can only choose 3.

Awesome - bjkmenu, Coloradoweeks, Atmospherium, Nukage, obScene, Misael.K, JH Sounds.
