nukage for the super well produced heavy distorted song

MisaelK for the interesting soundscale and nice evolution.

cotmm for making something that had a really promising and epic beginning. Even though it was short it provoked a lot of feelings for me.

2nd attempt, let's hope no problems persist in this one!

@Misael.K - You've heard far worse from me, you'll be fine XD

@Misael.K - Hope you enjoy the ride ;)

@Coloradoweeks - It could be worse lol. I could have distorted the crap out of it haha.

@Wassup Thunder - I thought it was pink fire lol.

@Coloradoweeks - Say that again, i missed it, what?

@Misael.K - CAN YOU SPEAK UP PLEASE?

@Coloradoweeks - DID YOU SAY SOMETHING? SORRY I COULDN'T HEAR YOU.

@Misael.K - COME AGAIN?

@CotMM - Is my track...really that loud, lol. I assume it was gonna be quite the dynamic tune, but i wasn't expecting that haha.

@CotMM - That's...actually concerning haha.

@Misael.K - Takes guts to load a Gabber gif for a 135bpm Techno like tune lol.

@Everyone - Thanks for the kind words! Hope it wasn't too loud for you haha.

Now then....

TheVideoGamer - This track is basically just one continuous build-up. Not a moment too soon do we get a rest, because every second something else is added to keep it building. Fire is known to spread from room to room, especially if you have wood, leather or even paper. Well my track is known to start on a very quiet setting, gradually moving up to a very loud setting. It starts off with some light plucks with a very short decay, slowly opening up to a full synth sound, followed by some more short plucks, then the chords, on a soft synth, then some perc loops, then the bassline, the more chords on different synths, then another break layer then 2 string pads, then the hi-hats, then more chords, then kick, then clap, then a full on string section, then another breakbeat (This time more thicker), then the main lead melody, then a 303 section, then another break, then some bell sounds, then a piano section playing mostly chords, then a final breakbeat layer (Distorted), then a final synth layer leading to a build-up to the final hit, in a sort of climax. It's just nonstop additions of sounds basically. It is more of an experiment, but honestly the results are not terrible, it's actually...good. Even if it's not the most serious piece of music, i'm just glad you liked it.

THEGREATDESTROYER22 - Starting off deep with some cool SFX. Sick bass and drums, it's become almost your signature sound. Very sick syncopation in the groove, and i love how tight the snare is. It has that nice crispness to the sound. I wasn't expecting barbie in this lol. I guess the theme has a bit of significance haha. I don't understand the hype for the Barbie movie honestly, but it's probably because of the whole Barbieheimer thing. The barbie advertisements were quite....uncomfortable to listen to, both because they were quite unexpected and also it was kind of weird lol. I don't think this is the worse thing you've ever made, because trust me i've heard miles worse than this. Although not my thing sadly, i did have a lot of fun with this, good job!

Souperion - What's with the whole "This is my worst work, or not my worst work"? So far i've seen 2 entries with this description. Nobody sucks in here, even if i say things could be improved upon in your entry. Anyways, this entry has some sick strings and Tubular Bells. We going into RPG mode here. The horn melody is lovely in this. The rock part was a little unexpected, but i'm all for it. The whole does need a few touches, the guitar solo has been reduced to a background element, whilst the horn melody is the start. However that is probably me being a little nitpicky. Ending was pretty nice. I do think the horns are too into the mix for me personally, there is a lot of potential here it sounds good, but a few touches and it would be awesome. Good job though!

DarkShadow - Wow that is actually a quiet waveform for DarkShadow's standards lol. It actually sounds like a nice mix. laser kicks strikes again! Full of chaotic goodness, topped with crazy time signatures. Unlike other entries, this one is quite....the atonal experience if i were to be blunt. This has all the randomized melodies and kicks. I had a lot of fun with this, but sadly it's a good job.

Wassup Thunder - You say this is more dancey, but in all truthfulness, this to me is more of a Eurobeat submission, the kind that you are so good at. I mean sure it has a EDM kick and synths, but so does any EDM genre lol. Despite all that though, this was sick, the melodies were great, and it had some really lovely fills (Although the layers of drums in this, does stack up the dynamics resulting a slightly louder fill compared to the rest of the drums, however one could argue i'm nit-picking. Even has the classic orchestral hits, which is a clear indicator of Eurobeat lol. The melodies are super nicely done here. Sure it does need a few mild mixing touches i'll concede, but besides that it was extremely dope. Dope enough for a vote. Awesome work!

Nukage - Ooh a jam, so this is gonna be different. I can tell actually, because some parts are not bang on time, but that's completely understandable, because nobody has the hands of a robot lol. The metal drop is insane, it's super hard hitting. Even with VST plugins, you still managed to make some very convincing metal it's pretty sick. I often call your style Digital Metal (A Made up term), because it's got a lot of EDM elements like synths and pad chords, but with a hard hitting beat. One could argue it's a bit...in your face leave little room for the background elements, however though i was headbanging hard. It has a lot of sick chords and drums. Especially to say this is a Jam, i would not do this kind of music for a Jam, especially not this well. Loved it a lot, definately voting worthy, awesome work!

cotmm68030 - Ok this has to be a problem with the site, because no way the waveform looks like that. If it actually does, then i am very concerned. Not sure what you are trying to make, but whatever it was, my left ear enjoyed it lol. Also it was weirdly clipping, which i find quite odd. I'm just glad you at least entered, that's probably the first priority (Regardless of submission status). Good job!

Misael.K -  Some very tight oldschool breaks, love me some classic sounds. That is some very sweet chords, it sounds like were underwater, even though the theme is Pink fire lol. The melody is more of a background element in this, which i'm not sure if it's intentional or not. The chord changes are lovely in this, it's got some very cool spices thrown in. It definately sounds like were underwater. The whole track is just very light breaks (Almost thought were building up to a kick or a snare or something), but i think that makes for some interesting space and movement. In all honestly i like this, even with the potential small touches that you could bring to the table to make it even more awesome. There is an overall nice reverb to the sound, i really like this, it's lovely. So good i picked it for the 3rd spot, amazing work!

Coloradoweeks - Ooh this is some very cool synthwave! That is one juicy bassline and some really sweet chords, that might be tuned by a few cents, in a 432 type scenario. I do love the tight beat here, and the great fills. Singing is amazing, i don't need you tell you this. The vocals are quite upfront in the mic, compared to the rest, but i think this is very deliberate. Now i don't meant loud if that's what you're thinking, but upfront. So it's more...intimate lol. It's still amazing though, especially with the backing, the stop and start motion between each line is a lovely touch too. This is awesome, so good i picked it for the top spot. Incredible work!

Arcana - 4 minute arcana entry? Wow it's been a while. You say it's experimental, but so far i hear some pretty tonal Mixolydian styled bell plucks. With a hint of distortion. The vocals are very slow in this, almost coming in whenever it feels like it. The vocals are drastically not in key, it sounds almost like it doesn't belong in the song haha. I shoulda read the description more clearly, because now it's more like Demonic Arcana lol, although my tastes can be specific, which is probably annoying, this is not terrible at all. It's very cool and has a lot of cool moments. The only thing i don't like is how the vocals are not in tune at all, so it sounds like the clash of 2 different keys. The backing is pretty dope as hell, so that's fine to me. Maybe some people might understand the 2 key signature thing, (It's probably hypocritical of me considering i listen to Stravinsky haha). No but it's a really dope idea! It just needs maybe more refinement, but i absolutely found it very cool, lots of fun. Good job!

JH Sounds - Making full use of Pianoteq facilities, hell yeah. Going strong with the Andalusian Cadence. This is a lovely piano melody, and some sick Jazz drum work. Already this sounds extremely high quality, and even has a nice mix to boot too! Great strings for that nice bit of tension. The high quality sound upgrade has really shown in this track, that Pianoteq software needs to be used in more or less all of your tracks, because it really is dope! Loved this! So good i picked it for the 2nd spot! And yes that shouldn't come as a surprise, because you do make some lovely stuff, especially on Pianoteq. Just realized this was a cover all along haha. I guess you made a dope original and a dope cover XD. I still don't care though, you're getting the 2nd place vote regardless. Amazing work!

Top 3 - Coloradoweeks, JH Sounds, Misael.K.

These 2 were also dope and needed to be on the list. I can only choose 3 though :(

Wassup Thunder (Really lovely melodies in this!)
