A lot of long and dramatic tracks today. Wish I could vote for more but it was fun to listen to everyone. Lots of nice experimentation and different sounds from people. Overall went for DDRKirby for the nice chill track, it's similar and yet different in many ways to me and held together really solidly.

Somehow TVG captured best the idea of being out there. DDR was also pretty floaty, but the percussion broke it for me.

And starla was also just good, clean Florida fun in the sun.

@Misael.K - Nah i consider this real ambient this time lol. None of the fake crap XD.

@Souperion - Les goooooooooooooooooooo

@Mister Fox - But yet still perfectly legal ;)

@Suzums - No wave samples? Do you even produce bro?

@Misael.K - Perfect for chilling at sea.

@CotMM+David John - Don't forget the big rocks that give you foot pain.

@CotMM - The wind rumble kind of really completes the track.

@Misael.K - If you ever want to see Misael.K's seal of approval, just look out for the "digging this" catchphrase XD

@David John - In some ways it's kind of psychedelic...

@Coloradoweeks - No problem, glad i could help lol.

@David John - Man, that's everyone's dream haha.

@Suzums - Can't be an awesome track without the seasonings lol.

@Everyone - Thanks for the kind words!

Now then...

TheVideoGamer - This track is very simple this week, which also explains why i finished early. Even though it sounds dynamic and vibrant, in terms of instrumentation it's only really 2 pad layers and 2 bell layers. The pads are a combination of soothing sine waves, and heavy metallic FM, in a more hazey lo-fi way, whilst still retaining the heavy chill vibes. Both of the mallet sounds, were drenched in reverb, and towards halfway, we introduce a string section. The bassline is a simple arp sequence, and the wind sounds, are design to make it more of a thematic experience, as well as to compliment the pads and bass. It's mostly 1-2 chords that alternate throughout, as i've said i wanted to keep this one simple, because of the images. Really enjoy this one, hope you do too!

Lyra_183 - You have some very cool bassline samples. Very dirty. Always love seeing people grow in their music. I also really like it a lot when you use melodies and instruments in your music. Ending was very abrupt, but i had a lot of fun with this. Good job!

cotmm68030 - Very nice pad sounds, lots of very intricate textures in the sound design. Sweet bitcrushed bongos, feels half tribal, half industrial. The vocals are a bit on the quiet side. They seem to be masked by heavy bongo and synth work. Bassline is very deep (In a lovely way), almost sounds like a sub kick. The vocals felt like it didn't belong there, especially because the backing track is lovely. Remove the vocals, and this could be awesome. (Not saying i hate them, i just feel it could be more up front, maybe even distorted). Oh well, good job!

Koekepan - Raveeeeeeee! Untz Untz Untz lol. Perfect straightforward techno vibes, very groovy. It feels like it's the start of some kind of live set/jam. Personally the bassline and drums are very stagnant. It's playing mostly the sames simple rhythms throughout (I'm aware techno relies on 1-2 bar ideas, however the genre tends to really go all out on the drums.) The track is still really nice, the synth work is lovely, i just feel the drums and basslines need to be more dynamic for me personally. Good job though!

Souperion - Is this more adventures in Scotland/Ireland? To be fair, it sounds more like some kind of sea-shanty kind of thing, but mostly orchestrated as an instrumental (Although some of the instruments sound like it belongs in that kind of region). Composition is very nice, super strong melody work, especially feels folky, but surprisingly fitting to the theme. Super enjoyable, well done!

DarkShadow - The DarkShadow saga continues. Lots of DarkShadow type time signatures, intricate melody ideas, and fast tempo's. It's very 12 tone in this one, which is both interesting and weird. Drums are kinda clicky, personally not my favourite from you, but i liked it. Good job!

DJohn - Short one from you this time. Sounds like Imagine Dragons haha. No but seriously, this is very good, the unique effects that come in and out of the piano playing, was actually a very great idea, made it kind of experimental (Assuming it is intentional) Ending is very abrupt, just cuts off, but it was nice, i liked it. Good job!

Barley - Chorus guitar oooo, a signature Barley staple. Really liking the swing in this, and the solo lead guitar. Feels like you have a psychedelic approach in all of your productions. Drums are sadly a little quiet, but the metal vocals took me by surprise, and daam, they're actually pretty awesome. Really powerful, and really compliments the transitions well. A really strong piece from you, good job!

DDRKirby(ISQ) - Wavy Lo-Fi DDR, i'm always down for that. Guitar playing is beautiful, and the chords are very chill, something that Lo-FI DDR always delivers on. Drums are nicely compressed, bassline is tight. Honestly this is really what i think of when i see images like this. Something chill, relaxing, but very spacious. Honestly i can't really say anything else, it's just Downtempo/Lo-Fi done extremely well, so good. Incredible work!

Suzumebachi - Wavy piano music lol. I'm gonna say wavy for every entry from now one XD. This is very much c418 music. If this isn't, then i don't know what to say lol. The only difference, is the extremely complex and intricate chords that are just..........wooooow. I know you have incredible harmony, but this is a whole different level of incredible daam, these chord changes are outstanding. Incredible work!

Starla - Man this is uplifting Starla. The last chord in the 4 chord sequence, is.....*chef's kiss*. No but seriously, the chords in this one, is also awesome. It just works well with the voice, i love it. This is actually amazing, the lyrics also match the music super well. I don't know what to say really lol, it's just lovely music. Awesome work!

Coloradoweeks - How unlucky, that you have to compose around naptime. I have to compose around sleepy time for everyone lol. The chords are lovely, it's not your standard C major, but yet there are some subtle notes, that really make it more intricate. It's the little seasonings that really make the chords for me, almost gives me the Goosebumps lol. Despite the lyrics, the subject matter and the predicament, this is actually really good (The drums could do with being a bit louder sure, but really the rest of the track overtakes that one minor negative), i loved this one a lot. Well done!

NickC - Ooh these chords kind of lend itself to jazz. This is completely different you, to be doing jazz. I can never tell what signature styles you guys have, because it's different for each track lol. For what i consider jazz, this is actually really dope. Syncopation is super lovely here, super rhythmical and groovy, and the variations in chords and melody is also lovely. Extremely strong awesome production from you here, very head-bopping. Well done!

Arcana - Modular arcana? Always like to check, as sometimes you pull an unexpected, with new software. Really liking the effects of your vocals, it sounds like your either in space, or in a box underwater. Really liking the drums, thick kicks. Some cool triplet effects in this, a very dynamic melody. The mix is very good in this one. Honestly probably the best modular you've made to date, i'll give you this one, really good. Well done!

Zovi - WWWWWWWWIIIIIIINNNNNNNNDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christopian - Oof there's a bit tail on here lol. Lovely chords and pad synths, very Vangelis. Great arps, very sparkly. Love the way things build-up. Has a 80's synthwave aesthetic, which i love. Chords are amazing, the note choices really make it spicy, it's cool. When it breaks down into solo piano, whilst i would have liked more of the amazing arp work, this section is also awesome too. It does come back at the end thankfully. It's very cinematic, works for a movie, perfectly encapsulates Vangelis. Awesome work!!

Eva - Sweet reverb guitar, very airy. Nice vocal work, works very well with the guitar. The chords are surprisingly very great, works great with the vocal. I feel like it's missing a beat and a bass, i feel this would really make it into the awesome territory, however i did like what i was hearing. Good job!

JH Sounds - These are some interesting JH chords. Not the direction i was expecting, but i'm all for it. I do like the unexpected chord change/movement, it definately works well. I don't have anything else to say really, the lyric writing is top notch, and i just a fun song to listen to. Well done!

Misael.K - Loving the rising and falling semitones, very sombre, kind of sad but nostalgic. Loving the rich 7th chord usages, really liking the directions you take with some of these chords. The idea is very cool, but i will say it could do with a tiny bit of work. The drums are getting masked by the intense bass, and the chords could work to standout as an individual element. However though, i don't want to immediately pass it off as Needs Work, because the chords are super fire and awesome, and the idea really stuck out to me. Maybe i feel this could have been pure ambient, or something i don't know. Thought about this for a long time, and in the end the lovely melodic ideas won me over. Well done!

InvisibleObserver - We finish on this very intricate sound design number. It's very much a sweet blend of IDM glitch, and dance like drums. The glitchy elements were very cool, i am a big fan of the interesting experimentation in this piece. I feel this could work as a long 3 minute build-up and drop kind of track. Lovely stuff so far, but when it's longer it could really hype me up. Of course i know this is OHC, and your track did take a while to export. Honestly nothing bad to say, i really enjoyed it a lot, well done!
