@Souperion - Only just started and already there is positive comments abound lol.

@Eva - All creatures great and small lol.

@CotMM - I miss-took that as Jehovah haha.

@Lyra_183 - The same way everyone else makes music, with software haha. To be serious, i usually post a description about my track both when i upload, and when i vote, so keep an eye out for it.

@Suzums - It's actually a chopped up drumloop, with minimal processing.

@CotMM - Massive is such a great synth for basslines it's great.

@Suzums - Which one is it then, bouncy or not bouncy?

@CotMM - I can't seem to find it. Are you sure you typed it in right? It literally comes up with nothing for me. Maybe this was a really old amiga file or something from the 90's. Oh well...

@Suzums - I call it the Kool and the Gang snare.

@CotMM - Even if you had the exact name and file, it still wouldn't come up for me. Maybe it got deleted or something.

@Suzums - Or we could just go through the list of every file extension known to man haha.

@CotMM - I mean who else but an amiga lol.

@Arcana - Very chill and relaxing, despite the momentum of the breaks.

@CotMM - I used a 90's breakbeat from a sample pack, so that might be why.

@Eva - That sucks, but i've seen your full render at the bottom, so i can use that for reference.

@CotMM - To be fair, i know a few artists (Especially in the 90's) with tracks kind of similar to this. The reverb was very obvious, than subtle. I really wanted to bring out the airy feel of the track, especially since it's getting contrasted with the rave vibes. Glad you liked it.

@Everyone - Thanks for the kind words!

Now then....

TheVideoGamer- I constructed a track that contains various sections each built of a continuous idea, but without anything being repeated. It's essentially building of of the previous section. Each section contains a rhythmically syncopated bassline, a looped (Slightly light) breakbeat, and various consonant melodies on different synths and chimes being soaked in reverb. Most of it sounding like a kind of varied Pentatonic scale. The goal was to make it spacious and airy, since the images are kind of weird. I don't know, when i look at the images i feel kind of relaxed, even though it's just a close up of empty cages. It's one of these images that kind of encourage thinking and creativity. All in all i like what i've done here.

Lyra_183 - Very nice piano loop, like the balance. I can hear a bit of background noise, which can be easily be fixed, and i would also be interested in drums in this, However really nice stuff though, good job!

cotmm68030 - Ok you owe us 1 second back lol. Is it really 6 minutes, because mine says 6:01. Hmmmm. All jokes aside i really love your soundscape compositions, it's something you always excel at, i consider it to be your strongest suit. As for the Silent Hill comparisons? HoboKa isn't far off, it does sound like it belongs in that game. The whole thing is lovely from start to finish, to the point where i felt it was actually a bit too short lol, however rules are rules, and honestly it's no biggie. Long story short i loved the soundscapes here, well done!

Koekepan - This is pretty humours lol. I'm trying to adapt to your 1 minute entries, i'm not used to you going this short haha. Really nice drum and synth work. For me the shortness actually makes a big difference, it feels incomplete as a result. I don't know, if you did this for 4 minutes with some varied developments i wouldn't mind listening, and would enjoy it a lot. Also the abrupt ending proves my point a little. Sorry dude, great effort though!

Wassup Thunder - Ooh very nice developments. It's all very dramatic at the beginning before it switches into something almost action-packed like a team of heroes assembling guns. I really dig the transition from purely emotional strings to hard hitting electronica, you should try more of these unique blends. Loving the melodies here, it's just very well written. Well done!

kboldskeep - Continuing your journey with good ol' FL Studio. Glad to see you making progress. The square waves are a bit too hard on my ears personally, the mix could do with a bit of work, but i love the idea, and it's a huge progress up from your last few tracks. Good job!

DarkShadow - DarkShadow is all about the bass and tempo lol. Made any tracks that go into the 300bpm range? Huge fan of the melodies in this one, even though it can get a bit too clustered for me. Good job!

Souperion - More dark melodic ideas. I see your tapping into the familiar rock orchestra your known for. Honestly i think the theme actually gives a little advantage in it, despite it being aggressive. The drums in this one are surprisingly quiet, which hasn't been the case in your tracks, but in this one specifically i feel the strings are pushing them down. Not the most theme accurate per-say, but i was hugely into the melodies, and after thinking, i think that's enough to send you into the awesome category. Well done!

Suzumebachi - Ooh these are some very Suzumebachi styled chords. I love the mysterious vibe it gives off, it's very emotional, but in a kinda of sad way. I love the melodies a lot, this is beautiful stuff. Probably what i would consider the most theme accurate. Awesome work!

Barley - Very nice guitar work here, it's got a very cool lo-fi sound which i'm into to. Not expecting a 4 minute composition, but i'm all for it. Really liking the tight mixing on the drums, that's a nice change. Not gonna lie, it's a little too repetitive for me, maybe this could be 2 minutes. The vocals are weirdly pushed down by the guitar. Maybe bring them up. Everything is super nice though, and quite balanced for the style. Again taste is personal. Good job though!

Ashka - It is an absolute crime that i can't vote for this beauty. Just because it's 1 minute does not make it less eligible. How can you make such incredible melodic ideas (Loop or no loop), and slap a no vote on it. You would easily be top 1 or 2, just soo good. Awesome work!

DDRKirby(ISQ) - Daam i'm vibing already, and the beat hasn't even come in yet. This is funky house at it's finest, love every second of it. The melodic writing is soo good, this is awesome. Everything about this is just incredible. 3 minutes isn't good enough for me, i kinda wanted it to be 5 minutes lol. Incredible work!

JH Sounds - Ok this is a different sound from JH, or maybe i just know what drums and synth's he's gonna use lol. So far it doesn't sound like someone's unfinished song XD. Seriously though, you do some seriously good Songwriting love this. Well done!

NickC - Interesting beeps and boops here, it sounds like a computer. Very slow developments in this one, it's more like minimalism. Liking the augmented chord usage here, it's very dirty sounding, with a hint of lo-fi. It's kind of experimental in nature, i love it. I do wish a beat would be included here, it doesn't seem like it fits the nature of ambient music. Plus this could work for something almost rave like. I don't know i feel a beat is necessary for this kind of track, and yet i don't hear it. Now it doesn't make the track bad, however it unfortunately means i won't be sending this to the awesome category. Good job though!

Dex - I can hear a slight bit of country influence in here, not sure if it's intentional, but it works super well. Digging the piano melodies a lot, very heroic in some ways. The mix needs a little big of attention for me, the piano melodies can get a little loud. The guitar work however doesn't, it's perfectly in tune with everything else. The piano is more so mixed, to where at one minute it sounds fine, and another minute it sounds a bit loud. I don't know, it's hard to find exactly why that is the case, and the more i go on about it, the more i nitpick, so I'll give you this one. Well done!

animatrix1490 - The intense phasing and EQ is really off-putting for me. I can't listen to that i'm sorry. Without it, the track could have really come to life, but it's not the case. Good job though!

Eva - Interesting guitar rhythms, it's not often i hear rhythms like that. I can hear a slight bit of background noise, which i don't know if it's intentional, but i don't think it was. The idea is very cool, but i can sense it's more...incomplete is maybe the word. I don't know, i really enjoyed it, even if it could be expanded upon. Good job!

Misael.K - Misael Rave. The drums are super tight, and amazingly mixed. This is a different side of Misael.K and i love it. Really liking how Alter Ego has made the vocals in this case, and i don't even like Vocaloid like vocals (Sorry to those who do). Really nice piano melodies. The different additions throughout really do save it from being minimalistic (Because the drums would have really ended up being a bit too loud). The melodies are awesome here, amazing work!

Arcana - The snappy snare is very loud in the mix. The chord choices are interesting, has a bit of dissonance in it. The vocals are mixed perfectly in this one, not too loud or quiet. The lack of bass presence is very jarring. It's almost like it's incomplete. I must commend you on your lyric writing, however as a whole, i just feel it needs a bit of polish. Good job though!

Ethansight - Really nice intro, a great way to slowly build-up into the funky vibes. The strings and melody are lovely. A huge fan of that melody, it's very well produced, and well developed. The strings have such nice melodic ideas. The drums needs to be beefy for this, it feels very light and soft. Maybe like a rave drum sound or something could really amp up the vibe here. The bass sound is good, although personally i would have gone for a less phasey like sound. All in all though, the melody was awesome, i think again like the last one, polish is what it needs. Good job though!

Top 3 - DDRKirby(ISQ), Misael.K, Suzumebachi.
