Very nicely done, DDRKirby has the polish and the sound quality here. Souperion I liked the development and the overall sound. Newcomer Sarys brings a nice blend of orchestral drama.

Seriously considered voting also for:

Sorry i couldn't submit my track on Thursday! I wasn't feeling so great, and my body couldn't handle staying up late, so i finished my track in the morning and submitted it via Dropbox, which you can find in the One Hour Compo section of Discord. I still spent an hour on it don't worry, i just did it in 30 minute increments. Also since it's under 6 minutes, and was based on the image, it can be passed off as a OHC even though you can't vote on it. If you want to listen to it, click on the discord link and scroll through to the OHC tag. I called it "The Temple of No Gravity". Thanks for your support!

Anyways now to listen to the submissions! Feels weird not replying to comments lol. Oh well.

DarkShadow - The good ol' DarkShadow style lol. Nice build-up in the intro, great way to transition into the fast untz. Not as good as the others you've done personally, but it sounds nice. Good job!

Koekepan - Ooh this is a journey. Very moody and minimal, as expected from a composer like you. I like the simple harmony here, an example of simplicity being effective. The pad sounds were really nice. I will say, i can't really pay attention to this, it's another case of where it's awesome as background music, but hard to focus as foreground music. It's something to fall back and chill to. It doesn't feel too long as well, even for 5:57. All in all, i like it a lot, i'm giving you this, well done!

Barley - Great delay effects here. Love the use of polyrhythms here, really great melodies. I feel there is potential here, especially since the vocals are very distant in the background, and the drums and bass are getting pushed down by the distorted guitar. Still liking the sounds though, good job!

Souperion - Souperion would make a find conductor someday lol. I like how you went for a Scottish Highlands feel, that's really cool, i feel it fits super well to the theme. I mean the images conjure up Halo memories for me. The traditional feel of the whole thing is super great. Can't say much, the whole experience was lovely, well done!

animatrix1490 - Very nice and mystic i like it a lot. It reminds me of some Medieval like game. Not a fan of the pad and saw lead that comes in, i feel they take away than add, but the flutes in this are beautiful. Ending cuts off suddenly, but it's really nice. Good job!

DDRKirby(ISQ) - Ooh i'm liking this DnB. Has a kind of atmospheric quality to it, i love it. The drums are super tight, and the chords and melodies are amazingly fire. I really love the way it flows. Nothing bad here, it's just fitting and seriously well produced. Honest i can't get enough of this, everything was incredibly fire. Awesome work!

Dex - The classic Dex rock sound, i love it. Very fire melodies as always, love how it sounds funky, even though it's rock. Well done!

hoboka - Oooh i like the delay effects, this is very spacious. Sounds a lovely start to a great composition, i definately feel more could be done to this composition. The whole thing is lovely though, especially fond of the drums in this one, it just needs a bit more for me, sorry. Confused about the vocal samples at the end, i guess it's a meme thing. Good job!

Nukage - The vocals in this are amazing! I love the effects on them, it sounds like some vocoder. I love this direction in the first half, it sounds very acoustic almost like pop music/rock. Far from the style i would expect from you, but you do it very well and the vocals man.....soooo well produced. Second half is awesome dubstep, which i kind of expect nearly every composition you do. You just make such amazingly produced dubstep. Awesome work! I wanted this to be on the top 3 so badly, but i can't ;-;.

NickC - Great mysterious piano melodies, almost kind of...uplifting. That melody is amazing, i love the glides throughout. Listening to this to me, does not sound like a NickC composition, i don't know why. The bass is very rich and juicy. The ambient sounds, the incredible melody, everything just sounds awesome. Awesome work! I wanted this to be on the top 3 so badly, but i can't ;-;.

Misael.K - Ooh slow building pads, i like that. Nice FM bells going on here, it's very retro sounding, almost like a combination of 80's styled sounds and modern sounds. Love the sparkly like melody, and the cool chord changes. Definately a fan of the simplicity here, the whole thing is lovely. Amazing switch-up in the second half. Well done!

JH Sounds - Unfinished Paul McCartney record? Ooh didn't even know he did unfished compositions. Need to look this one up. On inspection seems to be an old Beatles record. From listening, you did this one very well, especially fond of the organ usage. Well done!

Ashka - As much as you might know what to expect when i listen to you, i have to keep being as impartial as possible. I need to be honest (And not just vote for you because your so freaking talented.), and when i listen this composition....yep i've failed. This is another amazing track from you. I can't do half the geourgous synths you do, the amazing progressions, the tight drums. Excellent reverb and melody. Just....your too talented man, every time!

coloradoweeks - Ooh very intricate piano, these are some cool chords. Interesting for you to go instrumental, but it's not a problem for me. Not sure what to think, there seems to be 2 distinct sections, that jump straight into each other, without warning. Some people are ok with that, however i feel i need to be anticipating it. I also feel it's a little quiet for my taste, but that's probably me. Good job though!

mv - Great array of textures, kind of heroic. That bassline is super funky, Electric Bass all the way. The whole thing is some kind of 70's action movie, full of funky Disco flavours. Absolutely loving the chords and bassline. Such a well produced track. Awesome work! I wanted this to be on the top 3 so badly, but i can't ;-;.

Arcana - Wow this is some interesting chord work. Like the 3/4 idea, this is slightly different from your usual work, but yet it has the familiar saw synths and vocal sounds. I think your trying to imitate an orchestra here. The vocals are nowhere to be found, it's almost non-existent, which i can sense your trying to incorporate as a kind of choir element. The vocals could make the party, but unfortunately are lost in the mix. Good job though!

Sarys - Welcome new guy, seems like your invested in primarily classical music/film music so far from me listening to your style. Super into the string work, this is very realistic so far, love the build-ups. The one thing that sticks out, which i'm sadly not into, is the flute melody. It's very weirdly articulated to the point where it sounds kind of out of key. Shame too, because i felt that could be the shining light of this composition really bringing it to life. Good job though, loving the ideas here!

InvisibleObserver - Very soft and brooding ambient in the back, great for setting the pace. Liking the LFO modulations on the synths, great dynamics. Love the drums in this, i love how it's varied in sound, almost like a DnB break. I appreciate they are mixed at a perfect volume, not loud or quiet. Even if some sounds are getting there, the whole thing was surprisingly groovy, and enough for me to make me dance. I'm giving you this one, very nice grooves. Well done!

Wonk - Woah where have you been? You use to be a regular in 2hts. I know, because i was there lol. I can still sense your jazz roots again, as you did quite a while ago, however in this case you seem to have upgraded with more higher quality sounds. Loving the jazzy chords here, and the nice guitar melodies, huge fan of that tone. The bass is a bit loud for my taste, and the drums are a little too quiet for me, but the chords and melody are super well produced for me. Great to see you again, good job on the composition!

Ethansight - Ooh nice plucks, this already sounds like it's kind of a heroic tune. You make such adventurous melodies. Like "i'm here to save the day" kind of melodies. The flute is lovely, and the strings are awesome. I love the balance between acoustic and electronic. Amazing work here!

Top 3 - Ashka, DDRKirby(ISQ), Ethansight.

Koekepan: love the ambiance, sounds like the background to a eulogy for a forgotten world.

hoboka: very nice gentle soaring feel, good work on the percussion adding to the airy mood.

And I enjoyed the rest of ya'll stuff.
